I can see that Gen. Aglipay is one good example. :armycheers:

The problem is, the men sorrounding him are dampening his desire to give the PNP a new hope.

But he must not give in ....

.. bcoz we are here to support him.

Right, guys? :thumb:

You forgot TOPP '82 or is that too soon for you to forget? Be greatful that you have a SME (Subject Matter Expert) onboard.

I know that I have only been here lately, but I don't care! They can all ban me forever for what I have to say, Flipzi, do you want to just always have the last word or this is just a habbit of yours?

This forum as far as I understand is all about information exchange and not to have the last word! So far and if you want to review all these posts, Pare, what do you want to prove?

Are we that below you, that you must always come up with the last sentence or post? What's wrong with you? This is for everyone to express their opinions and not based on what you want to hear or think! PH religions, treat others as you want to be treated.

There are some experts coming out of the fold and are trying to explain their views, but must you always have the last word for all of it and give them this :exactly: ? What's your point friend? :dunno:

There are a lot of people here, young or old that I am sure will be able to educate all of us if you will quit trying to have the last word! What's your malfunction? Or are you really just that bored? Have you not notice how much postings go on here vice timawa.net, for me in my own perception, it's because you want to conquer it all and nothing less.

Flipzi, you do make some good points, but please friend, give some other folks / posters a chance. And to the Moderators, if you want to ban me for making such a statement, then so be it ! I once marched against Marcos, as far as I am concerned, you're not Marcos!

my father is a cop for 12 years now and he has remained honest and untainted to this day even if his salary can barely meet our needs.

I can understand your point here, maniegom.

I am not angered. In fact, i feel a bit ashamed of what you've told me. :dunno:

BTW, the problem here is that my postings or the way i do things here are often misinterpreted.

:exactly:

Though, you maybe right to some extent because oftentimes, it appears as if i always put it in a way as if my side of the view cannot be disputed anymore and that those who would want to express their side must state a really convincing opinion or view to break my hard stand.

But you know what, my dear friend, it is just a part of my strategy to get the others to give more of what they can say so that i too will really learn something from that information.

As you can see, it seems that there was never a day wherein i have never posted mine. Worse, it's not just a single post but more than enough to be even considered as too many already.

But friend, this is a forum. It's all about giving and telling what you have to give and tell so that the others will have something more to ponder at and react to.

This is not about how much post one gives but how much effort one devotes so that the others will be tempted to do the same.

Nonetheless, you still have a point to some extent that i should at least give more space to those who should be heard so that they will be inspired to participate more.

My apologies for making the way i do things here as if i must always have to say the last word.

Honestly though, it's not my goal here.

The point here is that .... it will appear as if it has to be the last word...

.. if and only if... noone will try to dispute it anymore.

Read some of our posts and you'll see how they (CDF, MBLT6, and many more ) convince me to assent to their side of the issue. And yes, these guys are the real experts in their field, respected and admired.

That's the point. State your side so that whichever is right and not my say will be the conclusive part of the discussion.

Sort of, "keep on convincing us" so that whatever is the right thing to take as what should be our last say will really be the one that will end a particular thread.

:armycheers:

One more thing, the Mods wont ban you.

In fact, they, as i am, will love you for helping this forum set the right thing for it to be more enjoyable for everybody.

With your sincerity and professionalism, they'd rather ban me and give the others the chance to get things run better.

:exactly:

Okay?

Now, keep on convincing us, brother.

I once thought of posting something that will tell something like what you have in mind about TOPP82.

But the fact that i was considering those who are still in active service, i decided to defer that post a little longer until something like your post will clear things for me.

Well, YES. TOPP82 is one of them.

:thumb:

And you are right when you said .. we should be grateful for having an SME here.

In fact, as i see it, Alamid decided to add this PNP Discussion Board upon sensing that some experts were enticed to air their side here.

we have in our place what i can say matter of factly as a very good and honest policeman, he is around 50 years old and has been police for so long a time but he is always smart looking with no big belly and very clean uniform.

he also rides to work on a bicycle and sometimes he patrols our place in it even if he is offduty, he is always helpful not once did we hear that he asked for tong or something like that..we call him manong tsip even if he is not a chief or officer but a spo2 i think.. i hope many policemen will follow his example.

ive been a lurker in this forum and decided to register now, i see no wrong in flipzi's post bok maniegom this is a forum and everyone is entitled to his own opinion afterall, he just posted his opinion about the question asked by the original poster frenzy...

as to my answer to this thread, yes i still believe that there are still many honest and hardworking policemen in the PNP, they even still outnumber the scalawags...

Here is something that may cheer us up.

After about 10 years from now,...

... and as long as the old senior PNP officers are retired according to the law,

... and as long as the PNP Academy continues to strengthen inculcating moral values to its cadets

... and as long as the public continues to do its part (just like what we do here)

... and AS LONG THE PRESIDENT KEEPS ON EMPHAZISING THE NEED TO RID THE GOVT OF CORRUPTION.

... then probably,

... not just hopefully

... WE WILL REALIZE A REALLY "WORTHY" POLICE ORGANIZATION.

A police organization of our own that we can all be really proud of. :armycheers:
