Maybe we should "ask" the local crime lords to "donate" to the AFP modernisation. Like what the Triad and Yakuzas and even the Mafia do, we implore to their nationalism. Of course we'll turn a blind eye on their activities as long as it doesn't affect us (hmmm, shades of Mahathir of Malaysia?). |

Command is about authority, about appointment to a position. Effective leadership is different. It must be learned and practiced in order for it to rise to the level of art. You must love those you lead before you can be an effective leader. You can certainly command without that sense of commitment but you cannot lead without it; and without leadership, command is a hollow experience. .. a vacuum often filled with mistrust and ignorance. You've got a point there. But its just so frustrating that things are within our grasp but because of the fools who got into office our dreams are just that. I recall that those Nationalist Chinese who escaped to the interior and founded what we now know as the Golden Triangle became twisted in the end. I doubt that any of their new corps are still after the retaking of the Mainland. Does anyone know of any good voodoo doctor? Maybe we can manipulate those morons in office for once. We once tried to do some vigilante work and take on those druggies. Learned early that they came well equipped and were augmented by soldiers, policemen and politicos they have in their pocket. Back to training then for us and maybe wait for a next time. |

![]() The Government Arsenal can't even manufacture the match-grade ammunition that our snipers need, so we still have to import those. Modernize and privatize the Government Arsenal, then legalize the firearm manufacturing industry in Danao. |

oops.. too lazy to read the title.. hehe Iniisip ko kasi kung private sector kaya gumawa ng plane/s.. Pero not necessarily for PAF.. Siguro for research purposes muna tapos kung ok then manufacture and magbenta.. Hindi ba? bakit tayo masyado aasa sa government kung meron naman tayong pwedeng gawin about dito? Medyo OT ata post ko pero wala lang.. sharing my opinion.. :) :aberet: |

u know i like the idea but the question where r u doing to get the money tama rin and building the a military equp crop is like killing ur self so the answer is to have a jont pravite and goverment project but in the other hand the goverment is just to corap to do something so we just have to wait and see

"No sacrifice is too great in the service of freedom." “As long as we are not willing to provide an adequate, suitable and capable defense for this country, we will be oppressed, demeaned and dishonored. We will be the stepping mat of every country in this region,”(Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile) “Just because we are a very weak country militarily, we should not be taken advantage of by more powerful countries" (Senate committee on national defense and security chairman Panfilo Lacson) | |

You really have a point there. Let's start developing our own aircraft building industry. Then if it matures, then probably the government will issue contracts then do some bidding / competition. I think in other countries, mostly private defense contractors are being utilized for developing the equipments needed. I mean, it really doesn't have to be the PAF being the ones building their own planes. |
