Who knows? Maybe by the time she graduates from the USMA the rules change and maybe, just maybe the CSAFP who can truly reform the armed forces is a lady. :thumb: |

When that happens, we can say that times have indeed changed. Once upon a time, the Chief of Staff could get a female officer pregnant. It is now possible to get the chief of staff pregnant. Sick joke only. Hehe.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Shadow? Is it not that we have both infantry and armor officers (female) who have served and been decorated in combat? Leah Lorenzo led a platoon in Maguindanao, in combat, under fire when her position was almost overrun. That lady, her name escapes me who led an armored column in Abubakar. Not to mention those OV-10 pilots who were decorated for gallantry, also during the same operation. ![]() ...This frustration she channeled into her effectivity as a soldier, as Lorenzo led a charge of an infantry unit in the clearing of a highway during the last phase of the Lanao campaign against the separatist Moro Islamic Liberation Front. "We were awakened by a loud explosion that came from the B40 anti-tank rockets fired three meters from the bunker where I slept with one of my soldiers as a hail of bullets was coming at our direction," she recalled. Lorenzo was then tasked to secure the Iligan-Malabang Highway, an area that was a favorite ambush spot of MILF guerrillas during the height of the campaign in June 2000. According to the lieutenant, around 50 MILF guerrillas equipped with B40 rockets and high-powered machineguns stormed their detachment at around 3 a.m. "I wondered why all the volley of fire was hitting our position just before I realized our light was not switched off," she said, explaining that her close-in security requested that the light not be turned off so that he would not be teased by his fellow soldiers. But Lorenzo said that she quickly grabbed her M-16 and fired at the direction of the enemy enshrouded in darkness. It proved to be an amusing sight to her soldiers even if their lives were in extreme danger at the time. "When I started firing, my soldiers started to laugh because when I stood up and fired my M16, I was cursing the enemy: P... ina nyo, hindi pa ako kasal inaatake nyo na ako (S... of bitches, I’m not married yet and you’re already attacking me)!" she said. "My bodyguard later said that he will look for a boyfriend for me after the fight," she added, admitting that she was at the time broken hearted. Though they were outnumbered, with most of her 14 soldiers integrees, Lorenzo said they killed many rebels and prevented the MILF from rushing up to their detachment. "I owe it to my soldiers specially the integrees who showed their gallantry. I was almost hit and one of the integrees pushed me to duck," she said. Lorenzo said it was that campaign that opened her heart again and she soon found a new boyfriend out in the battlefield: Lt. Jerome Santiago, a former classmate at the PMA who was in the Air Force piloting a UH-1H Huey. http://www.newsflash.org/2002/02/tl/tl001654.htm |

Lighten up a bit, pull your panties out of your ass crack and be careful not to step on your foreskin. In short and simple language, get yourself even 1/64 share of a sense of humor. |

Thanks for the info Shadow, my man. Likewise we couldn't expect them to join SWAG or other units limited to those who take a piss standing up. :thumb: |
