Quoting limited to 2 levels deep
Somebody's acting being born yesterday... no matter what the eventualities are, PH security is actually tightening up... heck you won't see a president rounding the golf courses in China now.

As you mentioned all the allies I assume not LP is your forte... and I will be assuming you are rooting for the benevolent VP Binay.
None of the above bro!

They are all a bunch of crap, not a single thing one of them cares for the Country and the Filipino People.

China builds paradise of veggie gardens & cute female soldiers in South China Sea

Is China constructing dangerous military outposts in the South China Sea that threaten global peace and prosperity or are they simply building tropical retreats ideal for vacation getaways? Judge for yourself with these pictures taken from a recent Sina slideshow purportedly showing off how awesome life is on Fiery Cross Reef.

Fiery Cross Reef (Yongshu Island) already sits on one of the most sought after pieces of real estate on the entire planet and has a sweet name capable of drawing in tourists seeking adventure and reefs, but the true reason to visit the island is to see its amazing vegetable garden.

Calling to mind the ancient Hanging Gardens of Babylon, with rows and rows of plants from every province in China, all tended over by hard-working soldiers, the island's private veggie garden certainly looks top notch and is justifiably given top-billing in the photo set.

While China is tightening its grip, We the Filipinos are losing it. Why cant we send our Ships and protect our sovereignty? China is just testing us if we don't act they will start building infrastructure and island in our own territory, we just need to stand firm and not letting any Chinese Vessels park in our island. Solution: Man all our island or worst comes to worst, ramp our old ships to the island and make it a base or military encampment like the BP Sierra Madre.

Our Phil. Coastguard really do want to send ships to protect our sovereignty, but majority of our congressmen and senators are playing dumb regarding China's Theft. and they are holding back the money needed to fund the ships needed to protect our West Phil. Sea territories. Some people think that this funds are held back coz this are not the type of projects that will give them commissions. if true? then maybe we just have to be A LOT MORE CAREFUL in choosing our congressmen and senators and make sure to blacklist those whom we know are not concerned about our sovereignty.

the demonstrations and rallies against the bully should not be at the bully consulate anymore. it should be moved to demonstrating regularly at least once a month infront of the congress building and the senate building denouncing the congressmen and senators to increase the defense budget to 1 to 2 percent. doing it this way will have a more practical effect because it is filipino voters demonstrating against their elected officials(the senators and congressmen) demanding this officials to raise the AFP defense budget !

The Truth About China’s South China Sea Land Reclamation Announcement
Beijing’s declaration tells us nothing new and does little to ease worries about its behavior.

Earlier this week, as The Diplomat reported, China declared that some of its land reclamation work in the South China Sea will be completed soon. Considering the feverish pace of Chinese activity in this respect over the past few months, one might be tempted to heave a sigh of relief.

That would be a tragic mistake. A closer look suggests that the announcement does not tell us anything new about what China is doing or ease our doubts about what it is going to do in the South China Sea.

First, the announcement tells us nothing new. In his remarks, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang notes that “the land reclamation project of China’s construction on some stationed islands and reefs…will be completed in the upcoming days” [emphasis mine]. The key word here is “some.” Since the announcement refers to completed construction on some, rather than all features, it doesn’t tell us anything we do not already know. It is pretty clear to those who follow China’s land reclamation activities closely that work in some features, such as Fiery Cross Reef, is nearly complete, while work in others, like Mischief Reef, is still ongoing. The announcement thus merely confirms the status quo rather than indicates any significant change.

China may be trying to hide its submarines in the South China Sea

BY STUART LEAVENWORTH
McClatchy Foreign Staff

BEIJING - For months, China’s visible construction of artificial islands and military facilities in the South China Sea has alarmed U.S. officials and many of China’s neighbors. What is happening under the water is also worrisome, say several defense and security analysts.

China has a growing fleet of nuclear submarines armed with ballistic missiles. The expansion of its claim on the South China Sea may be intended to create a deep-water sanctuary – known in military parlance as a “bastion” – where its submarine fleet could avoid detection.

As of 2014, China had 56 attack submarines, including five that were nuclear powered. It also has at least three nuclear-powered submarines capable of launching ballistic missiles, and is planning to add five more, according to a Pentagon report released last year.

In an April media briefing in Washington, a top U.S. Navy official said the Pentagon is watching China’s ballistic submarines “very carefully.”

“Any time a nation has developed nuclear weapons and delivery platforms that can range the homeland, it’s a concern of mine,” said Adm. William Gortney, the commander of the U.S. Northern Command. Gortney quickly added that China has a policy of “no first use” of nuclear weapons, “which gives me a little bit of a good news picture there.”

China's New South China Sea Messaging
China has changed the way it talks about its actions in the South China Sea, signalling a shift in the way it thinks.

(...SNIPPED)

That response did not evolve much over the next ten months. In March 2015, Hua was still defending China’s construction with terse proclamations: “China’s normal construction activities on our own islands and in our own waters are lawful, reasonable and justifiable.”

Over the last four months, however, we’ve seen a major change in the way China talks about its activities in the South China Sea – first a clarification of the purposes of the construction, then an announcement that land reclamation will soon be coming to a halt. As others have pointed out, China’s change in rhetoric does not accompany a change in behavior – it still plans to finish all its previously-started construction, for example. Nonetheless, the shift in tone is important.
