A real drop in crime or just cops choosing to report less of the crimes they see?

PNoy lauds PNP, Roxas for reducing crime rates

President Benigno Aquino III was again all praises for Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas at the 114th anniversary of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

In his speech, the President claimed crime cases, particularly murder, homicide and theft, have gone down compared to last year's numbers.

He credited the PNP's Lambat Sibat program for the improved numbers. He added the program will now be expanded to cover Regions 3 and 4.
