IMO,
The Anti-Drug Campaign is just a tool that they are using to make everyone in the Country to be afraid, I'm not saying that there's NO drug problem, there is..
This is the same style he applied in Davao to make the people afraid.

So the strategy one maybe, is to instil FEAR.. then follows Chaos, more chaos, State of Emergency, twist n turns in declarations etc.

While the Filipinos have their hands and minds full and fooled.. China is good, China is great, US NO good etc. WPS EEZ territories Not ours..?!

Enter Chinese Investments to PH, in exchange for WPS! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Mind you, When the he emphasized that the Philippine territory has a 12- Mile limit and that's all we can call Ours...!?

"So may I remind China again, beyond the territorial waters are the entitlement of the sea. Yung napanalo natin, but it is not part of our territory. It is part of our exclusive economic zone, iyong mga isda, ano ang mga nakita mo diyan, pati yung sa baba, yung oil pati gas kung meron," he said.
"Territory is limited to the 12-mile limit. That is ours. Hanggang diyan lang tayo," Pres. Duterte added.

Not surprised the clown will try everything to undo what the previous administration had been trying to achieve , but just didn't expected that he will do it this quickly.

I think you know who benefits as much as the Chinese.

It's painfully obvious. Until he proves otherwise, Duterts is China's whore.
In the same speech he even repeats China's bogus "historical rights" claim which the tribunal likewise rejected. What more needs to be said ...

Duterte is out of control. Getting close with China is not going to be a popular move. I'm afraid there's going to be trouble......

Assuming that the President decision are final, we can go back to this article.

ABS-CBN published last Jul 14 2016
Quote:

KD: Last words Justice Carpio. Anything you want to say to the Filipino people, to Malacanang who could be watching right now?

Carpio: I think even without the ruling, the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines has been defined under UNCLOS and our laws. The exclusive economic zone is called exclusive because it is exclusive to the coastal state, to the Philippines. That's why you cannot have joint development with another country because international law and national law said it's exclusive. Why do you want to share what is exclusively yours?

What you should do is ask other countries if they have the technology to help you develop it but they are your contractors. You pay them. You can pay them in cash or in kind but you don't give up your sovereign rights over this. It is sacred. And you cannot do that, you cannot give up those sovereign rights because the Constitution prohibits that. No president can give it up.

KD: He can be impeached?

Carpio: Well it's up to Congress to do that. That's my message, that this is the exclusive economic zone of the Philippines. It is called exclusive because it's only the Philippines that can exploit it. Let's keep it that way.

Bro. Ayoshi,

Assuming that the Insects haven't started planting fertilizers or "Pataba o Padulas" in Congress..? Pwede, but it should be Majority.. Kung if only a few, baka takotin o patayin lang at palabasin na Protektor ng Droga...
Which reminds me, nung nilabas yun sa mga Narco Politicians list, that's maybe one way of showing "Ang kumalaban sa kanya ay ganito ang kakahantungan." :dunno:

'Our relations are at a turning point,' China tells PH
By: Reuters

Relations between China and the Philippines are at a new turning point, and Beijing hopes Manila can meet it halfway and handle disputes appropriately, a top Chinese diplomat has told a visiting Philippine delegation.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin told a delegation from a Philippines foreign affairs committee in Beijing that ties had recently "sunk to a low edge for reasons everyone knows," China's Foreign Ministry said late on Tuesday.

"At present, China-Philippine relations are at a new turning point," the statement quoted Liu as saying.

China "hopes the Philippines side can meet China halfway, appropriately handle disputes and push relations back onto the track of dialogue, consultation and friendly cooperation", he said.

Duterte a ‘game changer’ in US-China rivalry

“Let’s not be naive about this, there’s no other country that will benefit from our differences with the US and our other allies but China,” said Lauro L. Baja, Jr., a former Foreign Affairs undersecretary who served as the Philippine permanent representative to the United Nations under ex-President Gloria M. Arroyo. ...

“The Chinese want the South China Sea to become a Chinese strait, with control of the maritime space and the air space above it,” said Malcolm Davis, a senior analyst at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute in Canberra.

“That is the long term game, and flipping Mr. Duterte over to Beijing’s side is part of the play.”

Yasay: Philippines not ready for bilateral talks with China

Philippine Star

Quote:

September 16, 2016

At a security forum in Washington, the country's top diplomat said the two countries can only sit down for bilateral engagements unless they are both prepared to discuss the matter.

"To begin with, we cannot proceed on engaging China in bilateral talks where China says that we can only talk outside of the framework of the arbitral tribunal's decision," Yasay said in a forum organized by the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

China has refused to respect the decision of the Permanent Court of Arbitration that it does not have legal basis for its nine-dash line claim over the disputed waters.
