I completely understand their being a victim part, coz my huge Chinese Rottweiler has always been bullied by my Vietnamese Chihuahua and Filipino Poodle. Maybe not really bullied but more of punished for his habit of stealing their food.

Another unintelligent rebuttal from the communist people... :headbang:

http://www.abs-cbnnews.com/nation/06/29/15/docu-west-philippine-sea-angers-china

Quote:

"The Philippines is attempting to mislead and deceive, gain sympathy by cheating and create the illusion of the 'victim'," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said in a statement on the ministry's website. He accused the Philippines of aiming to incite the people of the two countries.

The Philippines is indeed trying to spread the truth by shaming China's false historical claims and have gained sympathy from US to Europe; except from countries it need the most, the politically pro-China countries in ASEAN, which by all accounts most of them are.

Ha. This is the documentary funded by the govt and hosted by Lourd De Veyra. Couldn't believe they needed to do a rebuttal on that and on State media. Lol. They are really affected. Don't they know that the more they react the more we'll do it because we know how affected they are? Lol

Their propaganda and commie mind tricks only works in mainland China since they control the media and Internet there. Outside mainland China they are being frowned and sometimes laughed at. Their leadership knows it too that is why they always react to the littlest of things. They need to react very quick to pre-empt it from ever reaching back channels. Lol Thi tells me they are desperate. They are literally monitoring other countries media 24/7 to make sure they make a quick rebuttal.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have just confirmed one of their weaknesses. This is on top of being Pikon like their siblings the Taiwanese w/c lead them to over react with the pcg killing if one fisherman. Their beingbpjkon and the traditional loss face culture. Always results in them making haphazard decisions like to so-called show of force by the Taiwan w/c resulted in 1 Mirage and 1 f16 being downed.

They are upset because they are losing the "media war".
- Chinese propaganda has always been tailored for the domestic audience. Unfortunately, the global audience simply did not "fall for it".

They miscalculated... They never expected a group of nations, who otherwise had no reason to come together - would arise and give them headaches.
- The "cabbage strategy" was working for them. However, they just took one too many cabbages.

Most people think that China has "outsmarted" the Philippines and was able to grab some rocks here and there.
- But the bigger picture here is that International opinion about China has sank. In the long run, the effects will trickle down to its trading relationships.

China tried to trample on the weakest militarily in the region. A country that seemed divided in almost everything.
- I guess they stirred something up. A country whose inward looking military posture on which they thought would never change.

Did somebody bite off more than he could chew?

Maybe you are doing something right after all.

... and Justice Carpio's highly intelligent and very logical rebuttal to the communist blatant and continuous falsifications of their own historical accounts:

http://www.interaksyon.com/article/113174/tales-from-china--observatory-built-on-panatag-astronomer-in-2-places-at-same-time---carpio

Quote:

Could a 13th century Chinese astronomer have built an "observatory" more than 12 meters high and several meters wide, on the Philippines' Panatag (Scarborough) Shoal, which juts a mere 1.2 meters above water at high tide?

...

"To be operated, the observatories of Guo Shoujing have had to be manned everyday, since measurements have to be taken everyday. It was physically impossible to erect, or operate, such an observatory on Scarborough Shoal," Carpio argued.

My golly, these communist themselves are shaming their ancestors by pretending and twisting their ancestries history :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Quote:

... "in a document entitled 'China's Sovereignty Over Xisha and Zhongsha Islands Is Indisputable' issued on January 30, 1980, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially declared that the Nanhai island that Guo Shoujing visited in 1279 was in Xisha or what is internationally called the Paracels, a group of islands more than 380 NM from Scarborough Shoal."

China issued this official document, Carpio explained, to "bolster its claim to the Paracels and to counter Vietnam's strong historical claims to the same islands."

Glad that PH authorities are quick on their feet to challenge the falsehood China is trying to spread... this time from our DND

This was the response of the Department of National Defense (DND) to China’s adverse reaction to the Philippines’s documentary on the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea).

“Sometimes, it’s hard to accept the truth. But everyone has to accept it,” DND spokesman Peter Galvez said in an interview on Tuesday.

“It’s the truth. Everyone needs to know the truth,” he added.

Time for the Philippines to Adjust its South China Sea Approach
Manila should pursue dialogue with Beijing while it still can.

Growing territorial tensions in the South China Sea are taking a toll on the sizeable Filipino-Chinese community in the Philippines. Recently, one of the most celebrated Filipino writers went so far as to implicitly question the loyalty of the Filipino-Chinese community in an event of war with China, prompting vigorous rebuttals from leading Filipino-Chinese intellectuals.

Slowly, it is becoming clear that the Philippines’ territorial standoff with China not only carries the risk of possible conflict in disputed waters and a precipitous decline in Chinese investments. The increasingly toxic diplomatic exchanges between Beijing and Manila has been mirrored by equally – if not more – adversarial language in the public sphere, with some netizens stoking inter-ethnic tensions and undermining the Philippines’ proud legacy of multiculturalism.

Any objective analysis would pin the blame on China for stoking territorial tensions in the region, which in turn means that Beijing’s behavior is key to the resolution of the disputes. Nevertheless, the Philippines can still learn some lessons from its neighbors on how to better manage the ongoing disputes and best deal with the Chinese juggernaut. Diplomacy isn’t only about mobilizing allies and friends against your foes. It is also about keeping your enemies close and peacefully managing differences with even the bitterest foes.

Based on my memory of this author's past articles as well as this current article he wrote , he is more pro-bully than pro-US and he prefers we try to talk or appease the bully.

Quoting limited to 2 levels deepTime for the Philippines to Adjust its South China Sea Approach

The author, Richard Javad heydarian, is a graduate of La Salle but I'm not particularly sure if he is indeed a Filipino. He wrote a nice piece at huffingtonpost (Chinese-Filipino Community's Dilemma: The Philippines, China, and the South China Sea Disputes) about Philippines WPS dilemma that tries to promote national unity as a solution.

I feel that his current analysis is a bit off in terms of suggesting bilateral talks at this point in time. He doesn't seem to agree that we are at a huge disadvantage when trying to sit down with China with our current state-weakest military in the region, a budding economy. He seem to forget that Japan and even Vietnam did not forget their armed forces.

He is in essence undermining the previous status quos of PH-China bilateral talks like China would regard the Philippines as equal to Japan or Vietnam.
