Du30 to China: Relax, only structures, flags will rise in West PH Sea territories
By: InterAksyon.com

MANILA, Philippines - President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday told China not to be bothered by his order to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to occupy nine to 10 islands within the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea), which China continues to claim even after the United Nations Arbitral Tribunal ruled in July 2016 that the Philippines has exclusive sovereign rights over the territories.

"China can relax. We are friends, we will not go to war with you. We are just trying to balance the geopolitical situation there," said Duterte during a press briefing at the Davao International Airport before leaving for the Middle East.

Duterte reiterated that he had ordered the military to occupy the islands but he said only structures and flags would be placed in the territories.

Duterte to China: I can sell disputed isles to you when no more war threat
Published April 10, 2017
By TRISHA MACAS, GMA News

Duterte made the remark in an effort to allay the worries of China after he announced military occupation of the nine Philippine isles in the Spratly Islands on Thursday.

"We do not mean harm to China. We are friends, as a matter of fact. Maybe when we get rich, very rich,
I can sell the land to you - inyo na when the spectacle of a war is gone and nothing is dangerous to the Philippines."

I'm sorry to say this.. but what kind of Leader is this that talks and thinks like this..??!!! :headbang:

As if he has a permanent position in the Philippine Government like ala "Emperor"? As if he owns the whole Country? :armyLol:
Whether he's only joking or not, considering what China is doing to us re; PH WPS EEZ's, together with the Back door/under the table dealings re; Recent Benham Rise China creeping expeditions and who knows what else we don't know???

The Press release of Re; "Selling PH WPS Controlled Islands" to Beijing.. Joke or Not , is like a mind conditioning of some sort, maybe for future use.. "NO PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE, HAS THE RIGHT TO DO THIS."

Can't anybody in PH can classify all of these as an Act or Attempt to commit PLUNDER?

The NEXT Local Main Headline should be like this..
Re; Selling Philippine Controlled Islands to China:
"The Filipino People expresses concern over reported Duterte South China Sea comments" WAKE UP FILIPINOS!!!

If only the Filipino People would think about all that's happening around the Country right now.. :sad2:

-China brought these ILLEGAL DRUGS to the Philippines in order to plague the Country for their own future benefit.
-They Corrupted the PH Govt. from Top to Buttom in order to destroy the System, the Filipino People as a whole, instil chaos, unrest, in order to divert our attentions,(Main GOAL) while they try to slowly steal ALL our "Natural Resources" inside and outside.
-They installed a Pro-China PH Leader pretty clearly, based on his acts and declarations, sad to say...
-They are making us Kill or Destroy each other, our own People, Filipinos vs Filipinos through Corruption, Anti-Drug Campaign, Insurgency Problems etc.

Ika nga ng mga insekto- "In the midst of chaos, there is opportunity" and this is what they're continuously doing to the Philippines right now. :headbang:

Duterte no longer planting flag in Spratlys
Agence France-Presse / 06:42 AM April 13, 2017

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday pulled back from a vow to place his country’s flag on an island in the Spratlys chain claimed by China and other regional states.

"Because of our friendship with China and because we value your friendship I will not go there to raise the Philippine flag. I will not go to any of the islands. Maybe I will send my son, just to show that our claim is clearly good for all generations of Filipinos."

This Taiwanese president (former) visited Itu Aba Island despite the US opposing the idea.
He visited it even with Taiwan's reliance on US military equipment.

He opened his mouth and he went there.

Someone opened his mouth and mentioned a jet-ski. Then opened it again and mentioned raising flags.

Sorry my kapatid. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang totoo about my CIC:
1. tuta ba xa ng China?
2. talagang duwag sya?
You can claim anything in spratlys, just dont bomb us. If you will not buy new ships & jet fighters, China will give 20% of income"

Hindi natin kelangan makipagdigmaan. Ung maipatupad lang niya ang International Ruling, e isang malaking hakbang na yun.

Im losing my confidence. Im just here for the Filipino people to protect them and the constitution.

This post above by Hong Nam should be able to answer these two of your questions.

Unfortunately, Duterte's public approval rating still remains high no matter he says and does (or doesn't do) about the West Philippine Sea.

Philippines' Duterte cancels visit to disputed South China Sea island
Reuters 20 hours ago

MANILA (Reuters) - Philippines' President Rodrigo Duterte has canceled a planned visit to an island the Philippines claims in the disputed South China Sea, after Beijing warned him against the visit.

The brash Philippine leader last week announced his plan to raise the Philippine flag in the island of Thitu and fortify it with barracks, setting off alarm bells.

"Because of our friendship with China and because we value your friendship I will not go there to raise the Philippine flag," Duterte said in a speech before the Filipino community in Riyadh late Wednesday.

"They said, do not go there in the meantime, just do not go there please. I will correct myself because we value our friendship with China," he said, adding that he might just send his son to the island.
