BEL Boeing F18 Bharat Electronics (BEL) will manufacture subassemblies for the Boeing F/A-18E/F Super
Hornet fighter jet. This contract expands work Boeing awarded BEL in 2011.

BEL delivers components for the Super Hornet and P-8I maritime reconnaissance aircraft, and is a partner with Boeing at the Analysis & Experimentation Centre in Bangalore that opened in 2009. Through the new contract, BEL will produce subassemblie including the ground power panel, helmet vehicle interface stowage and switch assembly and cockpit console panels. :rifle:

^BEL makes a lot more than aircraft parts:

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has delivered the Indian-designed Data Link II for the P-8I, a communications system that will enable exchange of tactical data and messages between the Indian navy aircraft, ships and shore establishments. BEL has also delivered the identification friend or foe interrogator, a battle management system that will enable P-8I aircraft to distinguish friendly aircraft and forces. Finally, BEL is on contract to provide F/A-18 cockpit panels and has already started delivering on that contract.

Boeing India

For the Philippines, if only . . . right now priority is fast-tracking deliveries so I'm not sure we're looking into JVs. :dunno:

i know this the P8I parts r being supplied bcoz we don't trust the Americans, they have a bad habit of putting bugs in the system to cause problems later besides we don't use nor wan't to Link16.

Do u know due to American IFF systems in F16s most countries can not target US planes while the US can shoot them up... :lollol:

^Some people say the Russians owe you more than spare parts :drunk:

In 1993, its export version, the Su-30K, was developed, sparking record demand and the sale of several hundred planes.

The family is further subdivided into two parts: the “Chinese” Su-30MKK/MK2, which were produced in Komsomolsk-on-Amur and exported to Venezuela, Indonesia, Uganda, Vietnam, and of course China; and the “Indian” Su-30MKI, manufactured in Irkutsk and purchased by India, Algeria and Malaysia.

The model ordered by the Russian military is a “localized” version of the “Indian” Su-30MKI. Earlier, Komsomolsk-on-Amur delivered to the Air Force four “localized” Su-30MK2’s.
