We have given them enough time to rectify their stupidities. Time's up! either they get out or we will make some moves. I'm sure this is in concert with the Americans. Otherwise, the balls of steel is hollow and 1 cm thick! Nevertheless I salute our commander in chief for the tough stance!

^^ I agree with you SK, But in my opinion, it is much wiser to be the pawn at the same time with proper tools to shield in order to protect your own, these are the parts that they missed in preparation for anything...

send our own pcg vessels, but instead of just one, make it four... this would show the chinese our determination to assert our right of claim to the shoal...
Good suggestion, send the 4 largest PCG vessels plus the 2 large BFAR ships and this flotilla should send a strong message to China ...

Much better if they tow BRP Laguna inside the lagoon ala BRP Sierra Madre style and station some PH Marines with PN ship Humabon in the distance.

I believe flat hull ships might come in handy in Scarborough like the AT-25 coz they can enter the shoal and can be protected from submarine attack... manned the LCT and LCU with Marines armed with Portable Recoiless rifles to give more punching power against CMS and FLEC

PNoy; To China, withdraw your 3 ships.. OR ELSE???

This is the cue we've been waiting for, post US election, Obama re-elected, expect a solidly wise move of REAL and Formal Diplomatic complaint/ protest to UNCLOS followed by redeployment PH Ships in "Panatag Shoal"(White or Gray) with US backing at all cost.

The VFA with frequent visits of USN assets in Subic are critical to US interests and the Philippines, it needs to secure WPS all the way up from Batanes to Polillo islands, Benham rise areas, it's basically screening the whole of Luzon like the way they use to when they had their bases in PH.
Good observation sir AVB.. i feel the same way.. :armycheers:

Feign an emergency, call out mayday, and run the supply laden LST aground. Send more ships for a "staged rescue" all the while reinforcing the position into a more permanent structure. Weeks later, claim and send out an official statement saying - "Ooops, we can't take it out!".

Second to Hong Nam's scenario- LST grounded at the mouth of the Shoal with 5 rescue grey ships surrounding the LST! Ala Frigate Dongguan 520. and it will take forever to free the LST from grounding. I'd like to see how the whole world will bear witness to this incident. No provocation at all- "force majeure"!
