the great thing here is that nobody died. the consolation is that the chopper is not a total loss

imo, those birds should be placed in museums already, or like the one in front of navy hq in roxas blvd. time to move on folks

The twin engine might be the reason they are all safe, i could imagine if a single engine crashing like that.
Modernization should prioritize:

Patrol Ships with air/sub/ship detection, fast & lightly armed for Navy.
Surface Attack Aircraft with anti ship/sub attack capability for Airforce.
SAM with Radars, Close AA battery capable of shooting ground targets too for Army.
This triangle defense will work together and protect us from external threats.

That's the reason why it ended as a slow crash and not an instant crash.
