$ CA CHING $ Posts: 2,814 Group: Old School Member Member #302 Joined: May 13, 2006	Wow, I'm gone for one weekend and this clan turns into a disaster. What are you guys doing arguing like kids. Let's get something straight, you want "power" you have power. Your councils and mods but your acting like a bunch of whiners. No one said you couldn't make an event or host a pk trip, it's the way you do it though. I insisted on you guys to make events all this week but look on what you said. "Why make events when only 10 people will come" or some nonesence like this. I can't believe there wasn't a fucking event Sunday (March 18th). You think you should be pissed? Well guess what, I'm the only one who should be pissed at ALL of the officials' performances. So I should see none of you guys complaining or whineing. Ok, I read a reply about respect. First off, tell me what you think respect is then whine about having it or not. People make jokes at you then you suspend them or kick-ban them. How is that going to get you respect? To earn respect you have to "keep your cool" during events that mean nothing and during events that mean something. You want to know how to get respect in a clan and over a computer game, then just do what is required of your position. If your a council then [size=7]SOLVE SOLVE SOLVE[/size] problems not cause them. I don't mean freaking kick-banning people either when it's not necassary. You also are active and you act like a freaking leader. A LEADER inspires and MOTIVATES people to accomplish a mission. (Yes, that is the military definition of a leader). Do you think complaining is inspiring or motivating people to accomplish a mission. No it's not. You step above what is expected and you do things that are smart. When a council is complaining and threating to leave, all your doing is LOSING RESPECT, bringing down the clan's morale, and making your self look not smart. Councils are basically the co-leaders of a clan. For Mods, you job is to clean up forums, IRC, and all that good stuff. Mods are also suppose to be the Leader's right hand men helping them get information and helping to keep the clan civilized. There's also a problem about people wanting to be "famous" and hang out with the big name clans. Guess what, those so called big clans are nothing. FOE charged us at level 11 Friday (March 16th) and we crushed them. They cried and complained about it in Edgeville and made a stupid topic about it on Pure Community. Those big name clans are also the sorest losers ever. Look at TLP. They lose and try to claim we cheat without any proof. Now look at FOE, they lose and spam our chat with pointless things and cry about it. Joining FOE, TLP, or MM won't get you respect or power. You will get made fun of even more and called a noob and everything else. If you want to become famous all you have to do is make a couple of kick ass vids. Joining clans like FOE, TLP, and MM are nothing but publicity stunts. You guys have it made right now, you guys are officials of one of the great pure clans. If you want to leave this all behind and start back at being a regular member and having no power then go for it. The other option is improving and becoming a better clan member/official and helping out YOUR clan. Don't bring down the clan's morale by saying how much you want to leave to be famous. You won't ever get any respect. If you want me to show you proof how "cool" those clan's are, then PM me. I can show you plenty of pics that embarass them. The only time I want you to consult Drunk or me is if you plan on making a trip during Saturday or kicking/suspending a member. Before you starting making massive complaints and talking about quitting, maybe you should evaluate yourself and be true to yourself before you make your self look dumb. Leading PK-Trips may sound easy but it's not. Leading PK-Trips means controlling your members and making SMART moves. That's why I am always trying to get someone to scout worlds for me so I can be more sure and confident on the odds. Of course we are going to run-in into a huge main clan because main-clans rule Runescape. We as pures need to overcome that and get back up and pk again. If your leading a pk trip and your just woundering around a world then your doing something wrong. 1) you need to hop 2) your obvioulsy not at the right pking spot at the right time 3) The worlds obviously suck 4) its probly bad timing of day or bad day. P2P events are made for weekday events because you will find more people pking in P2P than F2P (unless you go to giants) on a weekday. P2P is also rather fun at giants/low level portals if you have a person who can leader a P2P pk trip. For example, Vloo did an outstanding job at leading a P2P trip because he knows alot about clan pking and is aware of situations. I mean it's common sence running into a clan blindly is pretty stupid unless you want to take the coin flip chance of hurting the clan's morale or boosting it up. If people say you suck at leading a pk-trip you shouldn't even let it phase you. I use to suck at leading pk trips (still not perfect), Ieet isn't great at leading pk trips (making extroadinary progress), Drunk leads good when we are about to run-in to a clan or in a capped war. I mean leading isn't easy as you think. Leading a clan is way different than leading a 3-man pk team. "You suck at leading," ok, wow, who cares. Leading a pk-trip is a very small thing if your a mod/council. Leading a pk trip is meant for the leaders/warlords. Only way you will become good at leading pk-trips is if you are mentally strong, aware, and make smart moves. You can't let people bring your confidence down because you made a mistake. If you havn't noticed, alot of people make jokes and if you get easily offended by jokes, then its obvious you won't be good at leading pk trips. You have to be serious but conservative at the same time. If your going to threaten to leave the clan infront of everybody your not helping any situation and you are not going to get any type of respect. You want to be a good official and someone with respect, then do your job and don't complain/whine and threaten to leave all because someone makes a joke or pisses you off because you made a mistake. Talking trash about another official infront of the whole clan isn't going to help the matter either. Straighten up and do your jobs right. If I take a weekend off because I want to go see my family, then I should be able to count on one of you guys to run in this clan. There shouldn't be all this arguing and insulting on these clan boards. Everyone has their own personality, if I didn't think you didn't have potential, I would have demoted all of you by now but, I have faith that you can do your job right and not complain/whine and threaten to quit. Respect should be the least thing you want while being a mod/council. You should worry about your job and duties as an official and then earn your respect. If someone jokes around with you then joke with them back. Also if you have ideas to recruit and get quality members, then do it. If you want to help me out, then move some applications to the voting boards and actually vote on the applicants. If you want to update memberlist PM me on IRC I'll give you password and whatever. If you have any problems, questions, or want something solved/ figured out then PM me in IRC and if I am not busy I'll talk to you. If you just want to talk to me or need help with anything that I can fix, then as I said, PM me. If you want me to evaluate and tell you what I want you to work on or what your not doing then PM me also. Since your quality officials, I trust that you will read all of this and start fulfilling your position and stop arguing/whining over pointless things.

Think Before You attack me Posts: 1,786 Group: Old School Member Member #274 Joined: May 13, 2006	i did my best leading the pk trip on saturday. and we managed to find some small lvl 40 clans then we got bored and found some action at gaints. it wasent the best pk trip but it worked. me and hax0r want to plan some pk run ins on saturday tho so we dont spend 100000 hours wandering.

Unregistered	It's a good post as it explains and sums up basically everything. I can tell that CP are getting bored of the pk trips and we need to do different stuff so I'll try to host some events.
