Sapientone Posts: 467 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: November 22, 2003	Spoilers~~~ So... Sophie is the spawn of BJ. We've heard that Sophie is the "Omega"... is that good or bad???? Ben is Scudder's son... and it seems to be that Scudder was evil... but Ben cannot be evil. I mean, he could... but... evil people don't heal people. Right? So... what am I confused about?? How can one be good even though he was born of evil... and one be evil? Is that a kind of double standard? I guess this is all assuming that Sophie is evil... But we already know the outcome... the A-bomb was created.

Indie "It" Girl Posts: 1,048 Group: Admin Member #17 Joined: November 25, 2003	Again with the Spoilers.. Sophie is the Omega or the end. I'm not quite sure what that means yet to be honest. I do not think that Sophie and Ben are related anymore. Based on the visions that Iris had from Sophie, I think that Sophie is BJ and Iris's sister. (See the flash back that Sophie gives Iris of the rape) Now....all signs pointed to Scudder being evil (INCLUDING the black out eyes). This is why BJ had to kill him to get his soul. NOW...what I am confused about is that BJ is the son of the now dead management that Ben killed. Was he good all along then? Because if management was actually good...then both Management and Scudder produced sons who were the opposite of them. That...to me..is quite confusing. Part of me thinks that Scudder might have really been good and management was bad....but Scudder was supposidly the usher...so who knows. I still haven't quite figured all that out yet. Now Sophie I don't think is evil. I think that she is like Iris and just wants the right thing to happen. But we will see what happens with that as we go along. Only 2 episodes left....I'm so EXCITED! Added Edit...My bad...Justin IS Sophies FATHER! EW! Maybe that is why she is the end. Maybe SHE has to kill Justin in order for all of this to stop. (Ahhhhhh)

I was just thinking about that saying, if it's too good to be true...it must not be true. But the people involved, cant see that. It will be very interesting to see what happens. I wonder how lodz is going to make a come back.

I feel like sometimes she is good, but she totally has an evil side. I can't quite get her. You know? And this past week... I actually felt bad for Libby's mom. I never really liked her, but this past week I saw a likeable side of her. Same with Jonesy... the first season I felt like he was a chester... then when he saved Sophie and told her to fuck off I hated him. But this past week I started to like him because of how he rallied around Ben even though he didn't like him. I still hate the bearded lady though... I hate her even more now. Sad part is... I understand that HBO hasn't picked Carnivale up for the third season. So it looks like it all ends next week. It's sad because I think the last installment would have finished the story... and I'm starting to grow attached to more of the characters.

I think that they would be stupid not to. I also have realized that they have bought the rights to a bunch of Clea's movies post the Beginning of Carnivale. BIAC being one of them. Hpefully they will do the right thing and hold on for 1 more season.

Do you mean that HBO hasn't picked it up, but it will still be made and sold to another station... or, there just won't be a third season?

I don't know why they would wait this long to pick it up. So I don't know... Since it is an HBO original... I don't think another premium station or cable station would pick it up. Other premium stations have all their own shows... and it would be too expensive for a cable station to film. If HBO doesn't pick it back up for the final season... we are left with the horrible cliff hanger from last night.

I have had rehearsal during Carnivale so I have had to watch the show on Mondays on Demand in the morning. But this week is Tech week for my show because we open tomorrow night, so last night was my only night off and because I've switched my schedule, I couldn't watch it monday morning. BUT...I watched it last night and HOLY COW BATMAN! IT was insane! It better be picked up for the 3rd season or I might loose it!

And he didn't die for the greater good of anything which is sad. It would have been better if he had gone down in a kick ass battle with BJ or something. Kinda upset when I found out about Sophie... but... what a kick ass role! All the cliffhangers make for a great third season. Make sure we all go on and take the HBO Carnivale Survey. I will have to track down the url and post it up here.
