Georgina Tuskin, Girl, Interrupted Posts: 382 Group: Members Member #40 Joined: December 27, 2003	ps - that is the best thing in the world that you have national health insurance. we need to have that over here!!! there are so many people without health insurance that it's really upsetting. if people are really sick and need to be in a hospital, they can't even go to the doctor's because they don't have insurance and they don't earn enough money to pay the astronomical price of a doctors visit, medicine, or medical tests.

New York as some fucked up laws about insurance and how policies need to be written... Here in the midwest they have ads that say the policies aren't available for NY residents. It's just different state laws that's all. As far as a national health plan... I don't know that it would work in the US, just because the people don't want the higher taxes. I think hospitals should be able to give care to people who need it and don't have insurance and be able to write it off on it's taxes.

Unregistered	Hey, I have an idea. Let's play a game! All of you foreigners, ie, people that don't live in America, try to sell me on the idea of moving to your country. Tell me what's good about it and why I should move there because um, I'm very tired of living in America. (Hint.... my big issues are civil unions, second parent (gay) adoption, and nationwide health care). Winner gets a prize (Hint: the prize is me and my gf as neighbors)
