That's INSANE to me. It equalled the record with Titanic and another film (Gone with the Wind?) But there are more Oscar catagories today.

IT did equal the Number of oscars...but it is the first to take home all of the oscars that it was nominated for. Titanic won 11 but was nominated for more and the same goes with the other film...which I think you were right about (Gone with the Wind)

Nan, The Astronaut's Wife Posts: 250 Group: Members Member #9 Joined: November 24, 2003	For people in Australia who have been unable to see 21 Grams yet, i was looking through my local paper this afternoon and saw a review of the movie. I thought that was strange as it wasn't playing anywhere local, or so i thought. It turns out that it is now playing at a little cinema near here, and also at our local Greater Union. So, maybe if you check out some of the movie cinemas near you now, you may be in for some luck...?
