I'm glad they kicked "K Street"... that show was horrible!!!

But yey... I'm glad they picked it back up, there is soo much that can be done with it.

Ditto on the Clea thing...

damn, am i the only person on earth who liked k street? i thought it was a cool idea how they mixed up reality and fiction..kinda like that movie timecode that came out a cpl years ago.
plus k street was the only show on tv where you wld find a republican lesbian!! she was kinda cute ;)
clea has to be back for season 2, her character seems to have an important role to play in the war between the good guys and the creatures of the dark!

As far as K Street is concerned... I watched for 2 weeks, then I stopped. I don't know why I didn't get into it, it was just boring to me I guess. But, oh well... I still watch Growing Pains when it comes on!

I agree with you about the Sophie thing. The more I think about it... the more I see how much they left open with her. They can't open all those doors and just end it.... I don't think anyway.

HBO Orders New Season of Carnivāle

Saying that Carnivāle has developed "a devoted mass of followers looking for distinctive series programming," HBO executive vice president Carolyn Strauss announced Monday that the network has renewed the freshman drama series for a second season.

The show's premiere episode scored the highest-ever ratings for a new series debut on HBO, and the series proved itself this fall in one of television's most conspicuous timeslots. Audience numbers surged especially in the final weeks of season one, and a live chat with series stars Nick Stahl and Clancy Brown immediately following the final episode drew a the largest crowd of participants in HBO.com's ten-year history.

"The fans have been so passionate," says series creator and executive producer Daniel Knauf. "I read virtually every web posting there is. The postings aren't, 'Hey dude, bitchin' episode.' We get people who feel like this is like a big part of their lives. To me, that's insanely satisfying."

Carnivāle executive producer Howard Klein promises fans more of the supernatural intrigue that has been the show's hallmark. "We are obviously thrilled with the positive response that the show's generated in its first season," he says. "It's also great to see on the website how devoted fans discuss, debate and even argue with each other about every detail of the show. We look forward to another great season with even more twists and turns for them to figure out."

Can't wait for the twists and turns? Visit HBO.com for an upcoming interview with Knauf as he looks back at season one and makes some predictions about season two. "We're just gonna try to continue to blow minds, you know." he says. "And take people to places they've never been before."
