Unregistered	So I was playing with my Girl, Interrupted DVD today, checking out the extras. Not much Clea related... But in the director's commentary, he calls her "amazing" and says that her portrayal of Georgina was "amazing" but that was all he said about her. If you go to the HBO movie special thing.... In the very end of it, they show her, Ang and the big dyke lady (lol) striking like, Charlie's Angels-like poses. It's like, sort of in the background but it's cute!

I sat and watched my Girl Interupted DVD with commentary because I wanted to hear what the director would say about Clea. For thinking that she's so amazing, he sure didn't say anything else about her. It was like he made a point to mention every other character and actress with some detail but not her. I was actually starting to think that maybe she pissed him off somehow. Hell, he even had alot to say about the actress who played "MG" and all she really did was say "bingo" and her infamous "perperment clit" line.

Unregistered	I noticed that, too. He did spend a lot of time on other characters that weren't even as important. Like one of the orderlies, I think, he went on about how great he was and how lucky he was to have gotten him in the flick and that they are no small actors, just small parts but they're still important... blah blah but very little about The Amazing Clea. An interesting lil note I meant to add before. Anyone else notice the little cuff-like bracelet wrap thing that Angie wears on her right forearm for the entire movie? It's never off. Well, in one of the deleted scenes, they tell you, or show you rather, why. Under the bracelet thing is a cat that she burnt into her arm with her cigarettes. She named it Ruby, lol, and she shows it to Susanna and burns more onto it. It got cut from the movie but the lil bracelet/cover-up thing remained through the film. I just thought it was interesting.

Yeh, and then Brittany Murphy's character named her cat "Ruby" and it pissed Lisa off that she did that (according to the book). Hey, I just found out I can capture stills from DVD, so I am having a field day. I capped a couple of stills from the HBO special you were talking about, Graham, so I'll see if they attach. I shrank them down to save space and time, but if anyone wants the full size JPEGs, just let me know. [PS. Also captured a lot of stills from Resident Evil, which are shit hot]
	For me though, it's like I've given birth to my own baby girl. You know? Only she's, like, a big giant girl who smokes and says "shit" a lot.

Indie "It" Girl Posts: 1,107 Group: Members Member #6 Joined: November 24, 2003	Hey Jodes, I think it depends on which software you are using... I'm just using Power DVD and it won't capture in JPG. To maintain the integrity of the captures, it uses bloody bitmaps. I just changed them in my photo edit program, photoshop, or even microsft paint (the dodgy program in windows start menu) works. If you're having troubles I can convert them for you.
	For me though, it's like I've given birth to my own baby girl. You know? Only she's, like, a big giant girl who smokes and says "shit" a lot.
