Yeh! I saw it on TV, too.. and then I found it on DVD, and it had an interview with Sarah Waters, so I picked it up.

It. Is. Really. Good.

The character of Nan King is so well written. Even though she is 'finding her feet' she is still strong and true to herself. The scene at the end of episode 1 still tears me up a bit. Rachel Stirling just let the emotion out. It was brilliant.

Did you see her in that episode of a Miss Marple thing? I was flicking the channels, when I saw it. I do't know who committed the murder, but Rachel Stirling wore a red hat, and it was awesome. Yes.

What about Hugh Bonneville!?! My friend called him a poor man's Jim Broadbent... so I slapped that friend.
For me though, it's like I've given birth to my own baby girl. You know? Only she's, like, a big giant girl who smokes and says "shit" a lot.
