Flyer, being a twin doesn't make you more likely to be gay. However, what the research your dad was probably talking about and the articles Riley posted say that if your twin is gay..then you (the other twin) is very likely to be gay. I've heard of this research before because i have to griends who are identical twins and they are both gay. But no, you are not more likely to be gay just because you are a twin. Those studies about twins were conducted to assist in proving that homosexuality is a genetic trait. I hope this is understandable. Here, just in case I'm gonna explain it in grade 5 math terms. Jonny is a identical twin. Jonny is a homosexual. Jonny's brother then is 52% likely to be gay. Susie is a fraternal twin. Susie is also a homosexual. Susie's sister is 30% likely to be gay. Pat is a homosexual with a sister. His sister is only 12% likely to be gay. Now figure how likely it is your siblings are gay. My answer to this question is 100% because I know my brother is gay. So I supposed this makes me 12% gay. Yay I'm an honourary lesbian! SaraHa |
