I don't think that i was a stupid question. remakes don't have always the same titel than the originals. I don't know if u r interested in the following facts, but since I spend some time researching I wanna show u my results: Around 1955 Ed Wood wrote a script for Bela Lugosi in which he should portrait an make-up artist who creates real monsters. American International Pictures (AIP) turned it into a film in 1958, called How To Make A Monster. In 2001 AIP started to remake 10 of their old films out of the 50s. One of these was How To Make A Monster (2001). Thats the reason why this film is dedicated to the memory of Samuel Z. Arkoff and Jams H. Nicholson the founders of AIP. HBO broadcasted 5 of the remakes (Creature Films): 1) how to make a monster 2) I was a teenage werewolf 3) earth vs the spider 4) the she-creature 5) teenage cave man (hope that's correct) btw How to make a Monster was nominated for best make-up effects in 2002. I still like that film. :ph43r: |
