Here in Europe most TV sets and video recorders are able to handle NTSC (sometimes changed into PAL60), but I don't know about US-TVs and video recorders, as usually the USA don't care about other TV norms (you're happy with Never The Same Color ). Anyway, there're stores offering norm conversion for money - you can check that out.
