Why oh why don't they make dropper bottles ffs? I've had good experiences with paints and washes so far with dropper bottles. I do, however, love the fact that these new pots actually let you see what color is in the pot. I keep mine in a box, and am constantly digging around in there to find the one I need.

anyways, here's a sneak peek:

looks similar to the foundation and wash bottles. makes sense to streamline everything. Still doesn't make sense to not use droppers, though. Double negative win! nice touch on the lid coloring, though.

I agree, although I am not a fan of pop-top paint pots, when you open them, sometimes the paint runs down the back of the pot where the hinge is. I'm hoping that there may be an alteration with these new ones to avoid that :)

if they are foundation/wash based pots, no such luck hoags. they still drip like hell.

Again, If they are the same size as the foundation paints, don't they hold less than the ol' black top ones?

As for the tops, am I the only one who painted a dot on the top of the bottle? That way I could at least get close on the first grab into the paint box.

I used to do that too, then I got lazy. I still have a sheet of stickers in an old WD that you were supposed to put on the lids lol!. There's a bunch of discontinued paints on it haha!

I'm wondering if there will be less paint in the pots, but at the same cost?

haha, hopefully just less air in the pot, which will be good for not drying out your paints.

this.

It'll be interesting to see if th new pots are as awful as the current foundation ones. Here's to hoping.

As far as the dropper bottle goes, my theory is that GW (and PP) are trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Which would not be.. well, most of us.

The average gamer isn't too interested in fiddling around with a pallet.
