there's better info on the guard releases at warseer in their rumors section. basilisk kit should include all the basic mechanised artillery options (collosus, griffon, basilisk, and the awesome medusa). chimera kit may have new "command" bits in it too. meh... i just hope they put keep pintle weapons and dozer blades in unlike the more recent vehicles. |

I can't wait to see the bassie kit. Having all the options available would make it much easier for me to make the decision to pick up a couple more. Hopefully a way to make them interchangeable is possible. |

Well the way some of the more recent kits have been made, especially the shadowlord/sword and hellhound kits, the guns are made in stages. you basically stack parts together and put the right end on it and a few pieces give you the ability to make a butload of different guns. with the hellhound, for example, the three weapons start out the same, but sticking a melta, flamer, or poison doom cone on the end changes the weapon type. with the shadowsword kit all of the large guns start out the same. just putting on the first piece gives you the banehammer add another piece to that and you get the doomhammer switch to a different end piece and you get thestormsword add a longer barrell and you get the baneword, my personal favorite add a different tip to that and you get the shadowsword you get the idea, at least three of the guns in a basilisk kit should share enough components that they could be based on a few similar parts. the griffon is the one that i'm having trouble imagining. the other three are a no brainer. |
