SAN DIEGO -- Logan Forsythe gave even himself a jolt when his first big league homer gave the San Diego Padres a dramatic 6-5 win against the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday night. Alex Smith Jersey . "Its a pretty cool feeling," Forsythe said. "Its always going to be special when you get a walk-off win. It felt nice to be the guy to do it." Forsythe hit a 1-0 pitch from Steve Edlefsen (0-1) into the second deck in left field to give the Padres the win and snap the Giants four-game winning streak." "It felt pretty good off the bat. I was just trying to get on base for the guys. Luckily, it got out," he said. Manager Bud Black was pleased for Forsythe, who had foot surgery during spring training and just came off the 60-day disabled list Sunday. "That ball was crushed," Black said. "You could tell right off the bat. Great sound, right trajectory. Great swing. That was good to see. Weve brought him back after the surgery and hes stepped right in and really given us a lift. He really didnt have a spring training or an April, so its good to get him going." Forsythe said the injury was frustrating. "I put a lot of work in, had a lot of guys help me get back to where I am right now. Im just trying to stay consistent with that." Huston Street (1-0), who came off the disabled list earlier in the day, pitched the ninth for the win, escaping a bases-loaded jam when Buster Posey hit into a force play. San Diegos Carlos Quentin hit his first two home runs at Petco Park, giving him five since coming off the disabled list last week. Tim Lincecum appeared to have earned his first victory since April 28 before Jeremy Affeldt allowed Quentins shot to straightaway centre with one out in the eighth to tie the game at 5. Lincecum is winless in seven starts, including three no-decisions and four losses. The Giants had rallied from a 4-0 deficit to take a 5-4 lead in the seventh, when Lincecum was lifted for pinch-hitter Aubrey Huff. Brandon Crawford singled to centre, stole second and scored the go-ahead run on Theriots two-out single to right. The Padres had runners on first and second with no outs in the seventh before former teammate Clay Hensley retired the side, including two strikeouts. Theriot had three hits and three RBIs, while Gregor Blanco had three hits. Lincecum allowed four runs and five hits in six innings, struck out eight and walked one. He is 0-4 with three no-decisions and a 5.90 ERA in seven starts since April 28. The Padres jumped on Lincecum for four runs in the second, including Quentins leadoff homer to deep left. Chase Headley followed with a double and scored on Everth Cabreras one-out single. Cameron Maybin had a two-out, broken-bat double with two outs. "Minus the second inning, when things kind of unraveled, every other inning was pretty good," Lincecum said. "There are still the crooked innings but the innings outside of those have gotten a better." That lead was gone by the sixth. Blanco tripled leading off the Giants third and scored on Theriots single to left. The Giants then scored three runs in the sixth to tie it. Theriot doubled in Blanco, advanced when Melky Cabrera beat out a bunt for a single and scored on Buster Poseys sacrifice fly. Angel Pagan singled to chase starter Anthony Bass and Brandon Belt greeted hit a sacrifice fly off Andrew Casher. Bass allowed four runs and seven hits in 5 1-3 innings, struck out four and walked one. NOTES: Street was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday and RHP Miles Mikolas was optioned to Triple-A Tucson. Street was placed on the DL May 5 with a strained right lat muscle. In two rehabilitation starts for Class-A Lake Elsinore, he posted a 9.00 ERA. Mikolas made his major league debut on May 5. In 13 relief outings he was 1-1 with a 3.29 ERA. ... The three-game series continues Wednesday with a matchup of lefties between San Franciscos Madison Bumgarner (6-4, 3.04) and San Diegos Clayton Richard (2-6, 4.44). Vernon Davis Womens Jersey . "For now, this is our only chance," said coach Glenn Hoag as he prepared to lead his squad into the six-day NORCECA (North America, Central America and the Caribbean) event. Aldon Smith Jersey . The Australian Rugby Union issued a statement Thursday saying Sharpe had extended his career, at the request of coach Robbie Deans, to help the Wallabies cover a long injury list. The 34-year-old Sharpe became Australias most-capped international forward when he led the Wallabies to a gritty win at Argentina last weekend in his 111th test. He planned to retire after the upcoming test against New Zealand, but will now be available for tests against France, England, Italy and Wales. Sharpe became Australias fourth captain of 2012 -- behind James Horwill, David Pocock and Will Genia, who were all injured -- and guided the Wallabies to home and away win over Argentina and an away loss in South Africa. ARU chief John ONeill said the way Sharpe has "taken to the leadership in the face of adversity with the side losing three previous captains to injury, has been magnificent." "For them to finish second in the Rugby Championship desppite the setbacks encountered during the campaign have been a testament to the contribution he made as captain. Aldon Smith Elite Jersey. " Sharpe, who was seemingly on the selection outer at last years World Cup, had planned to retire after 2012 Super rugby season, but was enticed to continue after Horwill was injured. "Playing for Australia is something I have never taken for granted. As such, to be asked to continue beyond the deadline I had set for myself was both flattering but also a request that was very difficult to turn down," Sharpe said. "The opportunity to lead the Wallabies again on what will be a challenging but exciting tour was too tempting. It is not easy to say no to your country." Deans said Sharpes influence on the injury-depleted squad "has been immense." "He is arguably playing the best rugby of his career," Deans said. "Sharpeys presence and leadership has been a constant throughout the year -- one of the few aspects of continuity that weve had through a season that is probably without precedent in terms of disruption."
