DougJustDoug: Subclass from BotClient and keep going from there. DougJustDoug: If you want the bot to battle, use the EdgarBot class. Captain: I honestly think a battling bot is a lame thing but if it's what people want, how do I say no to them other than "I don't want to do the work" DougJustDoug: The Edgar bot has a few basics. Probably not too tough to make it a decent challenge. I did some stuff on it, then quit. I realized I wanted to add a bunch of CAP-specific stuff more than I wanted battle fucntions. Captain: I find the prospect of making a good bot even with expert programming and math skills to be near impossible Captain: how complicatedly good can a bot be in your opinion assuming it doesn't totally cheat? DougJustDoug: That's why I gave up. I've spent a lot of time on the Battle Tower ingame, so I kept wanting to make it cheat like the BT AI.
