Ah The goverment of Magilan is lead by the President, who is elected by the parlament, that according to tradition, follows a public vote on the matter, this gives that while party X have over 50% support in the Parlament, Party Y or Random-Goodwiththegeneralpublic U gets the presidential appointment. The President is elected for 5 years, while the parlament is elected for 3 years. Evry law that parlament wants to pass, have to be approved by the two other pillars in the State, the Magilani Juridical Arbitrator, thats the Head of the Justice Department and leader of the Supreme court, and ofcourse the President have to sign it. If the JA says no to the law, thats it, boom, back to the drawing board, if the president however say`s no, its back to the parlament for a revote on the matter, as the president cannot deny a law twice, without having to step down. The Juridical Arbitrator is elected by a vote that is carried out by all the Judges in Magilan, this takes place once the old one dies or steps down. It shoud however be noted that the Joint Command can overrule any action taken by the Civilan goverment, however, this can only be done once, and if its done, the Joint Command have to step down and submit to a full investigation into the matter, they will never be allowed back into the Armed forces again. The Joint Command consists of the top five Generals of Eatch wing of the Armed forces, the Army, The Air-Force, The Navy and the MSOC. |

How does Magilan reconcile it's stance on religion with it's alliances with two of the most religious states in Caprecis? |

If i may venture an opinion on this one: its largely political. I disagree with alot of what magilan does, but since i value his alliance i don't do anything about it. THAT is how true foreign policy goes, its what the US did with Iraq for a while, and what we did with Russia for WW2. So if you ignore the religion, then you have politics, and politically speaking we're all more or less on the same page. but i'll bet if thats anything close to what magilan thinks, he'll say it far better than how i said it XD |

Forgein Policy is the delicate act of balancing what you want, and what they want. Magilans religion policy is simply that it is to be curbed if possible, however, Magilan does not enforce its policy abroad unless there is more gain than pain involved in the system. Basicaly, having the Dyrriad and V-Empire on Magilans side, ensure that Magilan can work its agenda in other areas of importance, while mantaining a relative good stance with the other big nations, this ofcourse ensures that operations are conducted without the risk of massive religious upproar, as the two major religious powers, consider Magilan to be a nation that does not belive, but does not enforce its oppinion on them. |

Anything? Ok. How to I counter as Imperial Guard the Tau's Greater Knarloc, Krootox and Kroot Hounds. This is versus an AI in the Tau stronghold (Where the AI seems to have extended population capacity and no Mont'ka/Kauyon incompatibility). I've been trying to whoop up my Baneblade but I can't reach the enemies relic without leaving the base exposed. Hounds generally owned guardsmen, especially if the AI adds a Kroot Shaper. My general response are Leman Russ tanks, they can take a lot of punishment but aren't very effective at killing stuff. |
