Foreign minister Arva Chang has condemned the remarks by the Taeunas FM Adams as "racist" and provocative. In an interview with PBC FM Chang said:

"FM Adams statement about Prismosians being pirates, thugs and criminals is not only ignorant but racist. We are a civilized democratic nation and yet they call us a rogue nation!"

Prismos refuses to recognise Taeunas on the basis that they expelled Prismosians from Taeunas several decades ago. An accusation that Taeunas denies. Since the unilateral declaration of Prismos on Noctur many nations have rushed to recognise Prismos but Prismos has yet to recognise Carpathia and Taeunas.

Prismos Tightens Sanctions Against Taeunas

In response to the provocative remarks and threats by the Taeunas FM. Prismos has tightened sanctions as passed by the Senate. Such restrictions include Prismosians visiting Taeunas, Taeunas citizens will not be granted entry into any Prismosian city and any Prismosian working or trading with Taeunas will be arrested for treason. Prismos has yet to introduce the death penalty in it's legal code but the Senate said that espionage may warrant such.

"It is my understanding that many human rights campaigners have complained about the introduction of the death penalty in Prismos." Deputy Leader Araminta Lullasby has said "Those NGO's need to realise these are dangerous times we live in and extremists may come through to our border without the proper deterrents."

As for Prismos adhering to the 12 mile rule outside Taeunas, the Foreign Minister Arva Chang said "those threats have no legal basis. Taeunas does not want to start a war with us, imposing such rules has no basis in international law."

Prismos Recognises Carpathia

Speaking at Viscount, foreign minister Arva Chang has said that despite on going threats to sanction Carpathia, Nysan and Oracian propaganda has prevented a good case against Carpathia who are not a fascist State. They have assured Consul Jeremiah Verne that they are against far right fascist movements.

In a good will gesture, Prismos extends an olive branch to Carpathia and wishes to exchange diplomats.

"We are also interested in Carpathia's nuclear technology" FM Chang said speaking from Metro City. "Perhaps we will one day also start our nuclear research with inspiration from Carpathia's on going space programme."
