THE DAILY BUILDER A NOVAMUNDO NATIONAL NEWS SOURCE MAERDAN AIPORT EXPANDING FOR INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS The Maerdan Port Authority have announced that they have begun construction to expand the Maerdan Airport by adding an international terminal and extending 2 of the runways to allow larger jets to land. The airport's expansion cost is projected to cost $508 million credits deducted from this year's surplus. The project is predicted to finish December of this year. PRESIDENT MACGREGOR VISITING MESTRA President MacGregor has announced that he will be taking a diplomatic trip to the Mestran Federation to engage in diplomatic talks. This is rumored to be the first of many talks to other nations to establish Novamundo as a diplomatic nation. During his absence, Vice President Morris will be acting as President and fulfilling all presidential duties and chairing the Executive Council until President MacGregor returns. NEW R&D FACILITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION IN RAOME ![]() Novus Research has announced a new construction facility will be built in Raome to provide a location for construction of the new military vehicle, the Puma that was announced to win the Guard Recon Vehicle Program last year. The facility is projected to cost $106 million credits from the R&D budget and provide an additional 3,400 jobs in the local area.
