So some of you may recall when we were still apart of the Commonwealth, that there was a RP that we had called Star Odyssey. Now while it was ultimately failing in its initial phase and there was work being done to reformat and then relaunch it before the CoR basically collapsed in on itself, I would like to take the format that we had, the history, the ideas and merge them on top of the Future Tech RP. So Robbafett and I will begin migrating over a bunch of the history and timelines, etc to this forum and begin sorting out how things can work. Likely we will use some of the existing stuff posted by Luca which provide clearly defined rules and regulations, and mix in a little of our normal Modern RP items to make the transition a smooth and seamless one. Optimization is key, as we work to revitalize Future Tech RP for real this time. I hope we can count on your support and the support from the Ministry. So what do we need? From the Ministry: Can we have a sub-forum added called Galactipedia. Everything else in FT should be moved into the Galactic Archive so we can remove the old topics to make things less confusing, We can always unbox topics at a later time. These should still be accessible of course. From everyone else: We will need a concept design for a map that is functional and allows for expansions, similar to how Modern RP does it. We also need a new name instead of Star Odyssey as we rebrand and evolve. |

Umm... we will see. The same history will not take place here I would imagine. In SO the Maugwa were practically destroyed and isolated to their home world. The UTF maintained a border guard to prevent the Maugwa from leaving the planet. |

Alright I need to know who is actually going to want to keep their existing factions that they already have set up. This is necessary as we finalize a coherent and unified timeline. This mostly will minimize the additional work imposed upon you all with changing your history to accommodate the timeline, I will make every effort to keep in tact as much as possible. Please note that those playing as humans will have certain historical restrictions imposed upon you given the new history regarding humanity and earth. Edit: Quick Update I have decided to retain the Tier system utilized by Star Odyssey, though I am changing a few things. First off Tier One will remain as the Galactic Tier, meaning you RP your faction/nation like you normally would, and very similar to how Modern RP works. Tier Two was the Individual RP of characters for you faction/nation. However for the new system, Tier Two will allow you to RP as individual Characters inside NPC factions/states. Thus you get to help shape the culture and the way the NPCs are perceived. I'll be working on how this will exactly work, and hopefully it will be something new and enjoyable. Just make sure there are humans for me to play with idk if ill do a tier one faction... It'll probably just be a sub faction or something... Maybe assassins or smugglers... That'd be neat

I'd like to remain being the Alliance, but I intend on expanding and making it more of a confederacy of systems then it was before. Nothing that should change the history much though. |

Like I said before, I'd actually need to see any new plot to see if my faction is appropriate, in all likeliness though, I think I'd like to create a new Human Faction, I'd like us to keep Earth as a big NPC faction if possible |
