FINTAN RÓRDÁN ELECTED AS FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED JINTIKIAN REPUBLIC The Jintikian Bulletin Autumber 319 Fintan Rórdán, former President of the High Council of the Jintikian Federation since 314 and Interim President of the United Jintikian Republic became the first President of the United Jintikian Republic, after an uncontested victory. Ákos Örkeny, General Secretary of the United Jintikian Social Party, hailed the result as a "perfect victory of the Jintikian and the People's forces". However, the electoral campaign was surrounded by controversy and accusation by other rival forces, as most of the opposition parties of both the Dúchaish and Caprecian archipelagos decided to boycott the presidential elections, claiming that the elections were fair from any democratic point of view. Despite of such claims, the elections had a turnoud at about 60%, better than expected. The Jintikian Electoral Committee confirmed the victory of the Jintikian candidate at midnight. Fintan Rórdán, who was previously Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Talamhle Chéile between 312 and 314, won 71.8% of the vote. Seannan Toirnough, the candidate of the Communist Party of Talamhle Chéile was second, with a 14.1%, while János Márai, the DPK-DA candidate was third with a 9,9%. Vlad Kaffka, an independent candidate from the Árpády Islands was fourth. Rórdán pledged that the United Jintikian Republic will continue under his leadership its "march toward a real, democracy, equality, progress, and national sovereignty". He also vowed to engage opponents and be a president for "all Jintikian citizens", without renouncing the principles of the United Republic. At the Jintikian Building, in the city of Gár, Fintan Rórdán appeared in front of hundreds of supporters to celebrate his victory. They were waving mostly the flag of the new republic, but also the formed national flags of the state members of the Jintikian Republic, between other Jintikian symbols. Rórdán, with a relatively serious face, promised "being a good president", and proclaimed that his victory was a "victory of all the Jintikian citizens, but this echo will sound soon in all the Jintikian Sea and in all Zaroca". Although his presidential campaign was plenty of attacks against both the anti-Jintikian forces and the Länlanian Government, his discourse was certainly more constructive. "We have showed", he declared, "that the United Jintikian Republic is already a reality, an example to the nations and peoples of the world". He also "applauded the democratic spirit and attitude of the Jintikian peoples", thanking those who had voted for him and acknowledged those who had voted for another candidates. "We'll be working for you too", he declared. He was already congratulated by several foreign presidents, most of them members of the Trilateral Alliance, which the United Jintikian Republic officially joined only a months ago. President Rórdán five-year term will being on December 1st. |

THE NATIONALIZATION PROGRAM CONTINUES The Jintikian Bulletin | July 320 The Chairman of the Federal Council, Eímhín Marcóir, has confirmed and announced that, in application of the Second Economic Recovery Plan passed recently in the Jintikian Parliament, the Government will nationalize several private companies. It was, therefore, announced the nationalization of the Charis Jintikian Bank, Dúchaish Investment, and the Bank of Glas -already partly state-owned-, and other minor banks as the Árpád Bank or the National Bank of Këszország. After this decision, more of the 80% of the banking system will be on the hands of the United Jintikian Republic, only minor and local banks and credit companies will remain in private property. The banking system will be reorganized, the Minister of Economy declared, in the next weeks, in order to rationalize the new needs and aims of the Jintikian banking system. Chairman Marcóir declared that it's expected that this decision will improve the economic growth and labour market through public investment and creation of new companies, both public and privates. It was also announced the nationalization of the electricity companies, and the whole railway system and the road haulage of the United Jintikian Republic. The postal national system and the National Airport Authority -also partly state-owned- will be as well completely nationalized, and Chairman Marcóir declared that a new management will be appointed. He assured that the democratic participation of trade unions, regional authorities, and parliamentary committees will be improved, through the creation of the Federal Economic Board, also approved only a few weeks ago. Those companies confiscated by the state as consequence of the judiciary decisions against those who supported the Fascist coup d'etat -including media companies such as the Dúchaish Media Group- will be definitely owned and managed by the United Jintikian Republic, as Chairman Marcóir announced the creation of an Independent Committee in order to supervise the activities of those companies. "The independence of each worker and center will be guaranteed", he declared. The decision was criticized by opposition parties of both the Árpády Islands and the Dúchaish Archipelago, as a wrong decision, from their point of view, for the recovery of the economy. "This is not certainly a surprise", Ninian Daly, member of the Liberal Democratic Party, declared. "It's another step by President Rórdán through the wrong and dangerous path through a Communist system. If we continue this way, only disaster is waiting for us, and all freedom will be definetely destroyed". Edited by Hadash, Dec 10 2013, 05:59 AM.

ACCIDENTAL JANDREAN ELECTORAL CAMPAIGN The Jintikian Bulletin | Late 321 The upcoming Jandrean Elections were suddenly shocked by a sad event. Damien Andros, the candidate of the Jandrean Progressives, who was the leading candidate in all the polls, has suffered a deadly car accident, and he's currently in a serious condition, struggling for his own survival on a Jandrean hospital. Before the accident, Andros seemed destined to end the rule of the corrupt Jandrean Liberal Party, which has dominated Jandrea politics in the last decade, and leading the Jandrean Progressives to a real change of the Jandrean politics, with a political program that combined independent and reasonable national and international policies with a left-leaning economic program. His main rival in the elections was the Pro-Fascist candidate Michael Roveren, leader of the Jandrean Liberal Party, and former Prime Minister. He was serving until recently a life sentence, but a controversial decision of the Jandrean judiciary allowed him to come back to politics once again. The decision was controversial, and many in Jandrea believed that it was just but another suspicious movement from Roveran-circle, who have been surrounded by corruption scandals during most of his political career. Now, it's unclear how this event will impact the Jandrean Elections and the future of that country. We reproduce a statement from Zándor Rëkas, Jintikian Ambassador in Jandrea.

JINTIKIAN POLITICAL FORCES DEBATE FURTHER INTEGRATION AND UNITY The Jintikian Bulletin | April 322 Following the recent Jintikian Parliamentary Elections, which resulted in a pyrrhic victory of the Jintikian Alliance, which lost its majority in the Jintikian Parliament, the Second Congress of the Jintikian Alliance was prepared in the city of Glaschántar, United Jintikian Republic. The congress had the striking absense of President Fintan Rórdán, but Prime Minister Eimhím Marcóir, Ákos Örkeny, former President of the Federal Republic of Talamhle Chéile Damhait Fionnagaín, and many Ministers and representatives from the Government and State. The United Social Jintikian Party of the Árpády Islands, the United Socialist Democratic Party of Talamhle Chéile and the Communist Party of Talamhle Chéile, and many other minor political and social organizations sent representatives to the meeting. The General Assembly of the Jintikian Alliance confirmed the political program of the electoral coalition, and its support to President Rórdán's policies, although it also gave its vote of confidence to the Government in order to achieve agreements beyond those limits, without compromising the principles and fundamental agreements of the Jintikian movement. Talking about the Presidential Elections of 314, Ákos Örkeny declared that "the next two years will be crucial for the Jintikian movement", he said. "So it must be taken up by the militants and leadership of our movement...As our political enemy is reorganizing, we must do so as well, in order to avoid them destroying the work of the Jintikian movement and the working classes, which so blood recently sacrificed in the welfare of our peoples". The Political Committee of the Jintikian Alliance announced and proclaimed that the electoral coalition should convert itself into a more powerful mean of discussion and communication, which includes the use of non-traditional means of dissemination, and a more organic unity which avoid divisions which damages the working and popularity of the movement. "We're calling today on all currents and movements which shares the principles of our movement", Prime Minister Marcóir declared. "All sectarianism must be forgotten and excluded. Our movement must avoid both division and authoritarian rule. Our organization should be more united than ever, while remaining an open system of unification and empowerment. Without renouncing our principles, we must realize there are only two paths: this one that we're going down, which leads to self-government, democracy and socialism; or to turn back, which would be a catastrophe that take us back to the past, to war and foreign domination by the imperialist powers. There is no a third alternative, and that's the reason we must together today". Update: The meeting ended with the proclamation of a "document of political unity" which agrees on minor changes in the composition of the leadership of the movement, and a joint statement by the United Social Jintikian Party of the Árpády Islands, the USDP of Talamhle Chéile and other twenty-one social organizations to integrate in a new political front, in order to continue with the achievements of the Jintikian movement. The Communist Party of Talamhle Chéile announced that it shoud study the document very carefully before to take any decision. |

ON DANGUO'S ELECTIONS The Jintikian Bulletin The first democratic elections in Danguo since Xi Qing's fall have brought to parliament a new generation of leaders and politician and a divided parliament. The Conservatives proclaimed their victory, obtaining 36% of the votes and 321 seats. The Communist Party was the second most voted political organizations, with 22% of the votes, although the Nationalist People's Party achieved 8 seats more, despite obtaining less votes. The Liberals and the Fascists also obtained a representation in the parliament. Most of analysts agree that Zhou Qing, the leader of the Conservative Party, is not likely to have problems to form a new Government. A Government Coalition between the Conservatives and the Liberals is likely to be formed. However, although the elections were considered free and fair elections by most of observers and foreign countries, there were a controversy how they were organized, specially regarding the Danguo's absense of a pluralist enough media and the uncontrolled funding of the political parties, not only from lobbying groups and capitalist companies, but also from both state and private foreign countries. "The United Jintikian Republic can only congratulate the Danguo's people for being able to determinate its own future through an electoral process", Minister of Foreign Affairs Ákos Örkeny declared. "We hope that a process of political stability, economic prosperity, and social justice could be started now. You asked me if I agree that this electoral process was unfair and suspicious...I can only said that free nations has the right to learn from their own mistakes. In any case, it is worrying that many foreign nations weren't really interested in providing a fair and stable political process, but rather in getting electing as soon as possible one or another candidate. That practice, from the point of view of both the right to self-determination and regional stability is, at least, dubious". Zándor Csikszentmihalyi, Chairman of the Árpády Council and member of the Political Committee of the United Jintikian Party, was more clear in his valoration of the Danguo's Election. "I say often: acts speak more clearly than words", he said during the inauguration of the new State Theatre in Gár. "These Governments, which Imperialist Agenda they don't dare to hide, would accuse you of eroding the rule of the law if you pass any legislation which may be against the interest of their military projects or the powerful corporations, but we could see how they worked. The voice of the Danguo's people was being silenced by millions of dirty caprecs. For Capitalists, democracy is a joke. If you have a milion caprecs, you get a million votes, while the poor has only their own hands. The time when the Danguo's people will be able to determine their own future still has to come, I'm sure". Edited by Hadash, Mar 17 2014, 03:40 PM.

ROYAL SCANDAL IN LÄNLANIA The Dúchaish Post Started as a rumour several weeks ago, a leaked sex tape has shocked the Holy Empire of Länlania. The supposed tape appeared in social media such as Newster, Peoplebook, spreading quickly around both Länlania and the World. The tape had supposedly depicted Soren Bonde, the Länlanian Monarch, accompanied by two members of the Royal family and several animals. The leaked film -a censored version- shows Bonde having oral sex with a dog and two minors, before starting sexual intercourse with a monkey. The monkey, called Harold, is not unknown to the Länlanian public, being one of the most famous animals of the Halvadag Royal Zoo. At first, the Government rejected such claims as libel, but no Länlanian official has appeared in public or make any kind of declaration in the last 20 hours. Hours later, most of social media sites were censored or blocked, in a media blockout unknown before in the East Uroca country. ![]() This is Harold, not Soren. The implications of such scandal are certainly unpredictable. It's not the first time that Soren's personal life, full of rumours and scandals about his own eccentric lifestyle, is object of attention, rumours and gossip. But this time may be different. One Speaker from the Royal House has called the recordings as a "dirty immoral fabrication", and that the authors will pay the legal consequences, both such threats aren't likely to have a real effect on a definitely shocked Länlanian civil society. Many voices are already calling for and abdication of the Länlanian Monarch, and some are even demanding some steps beyond. The whole Monarchist system may be at the verge of collapse, according to some experts. "Soren's controversial rule, beyond the own moral limits of the Länlanian society are pushing our conservative country to an unaceptable situation. If the Empire doesn't react quickly and reasonable, this event could have an unprecedented impact on Länlanian position in the world, I'm afraid", Hans Tykerbold, member of an independent think tank, declared. The Länlanian Cabinet is currently holding an emergency meeting where is likely their discussing the recording. Republicans, Socialists, and even some Liberals groups has declared that both the Monarch and the Government have lost their legitimacy and calling Soren to abdicate, while unauthorized demonstrations has been called. The controversy has severely hit Länlanian markets, with the Länlanian Mark losing more than 400% of its value. |

MINISTER ÖRKENY DISMISSES LÄNLANIAN CRITICISM The Talamhle Chéile Herald Unexpectedly, a parodic article published in one of our country's newspapers, The Dúchaish Post, have caused outrage in Länlania, causing even official condemnation from the whole Länlanian political system. The article, published in the website of the newspaper although not in the paper version, mocked the Länlanian Monarch Soren Bonde and the constant rumours about his private life, claiming -in some of kind comedy-style typical of the day- that the East Urocan country had been surprised by the leak of sextape which involved the Länlanian Monarch with the most extravagant sexual practices. The Länlanian criticism came not only from the Länlanian -both public and private- media, but also from the parliamentary authorities, the political parties, and even the Länlanian diplomacy. Last Friday, when there was barely knowledge of the dimension of the prostest, Head of Government Eimhín Marcóir rejected to make any declaration about the issue. Even if the Länlanian reaction can be only considered a disproportionate one, it not the first time the mentioned newspaper is involved in a similar controversy. The Dúchaish Post, one of our oldest newspapers, was founded by journalist Faolán Rascáil, became quickly the most popular newspaper of the first decades of the Second Republic. Beyond its conservative ideology, Rascáil was able to introduce a new journalistic style in Talamhle Chéile, characterized with an increasing sport and scandal coverage, adopting eye-catching headlines style. Despite our newspaper was attacked by the Dúchaish Post -then edited by Damhán, Faolán Rascáil's son- in recent years, we've to recognize that following the Glas Crisis of 304, the Post adopted a more political and coherent ideological approach even if its strident style was never left. But this second stage of the newspaper ended abruptly when the Post supported openly the Anti-Socialist coup d'etat of 316, and the newspaper was seized by Government-supporters. Then, following governmental approval, the Dúchaish Post suffered its most unexpected and radical transformation, becoming the unofficial press of the Communist Party of Talamhle Chéile. Since then, focused on attacking the freedom of press rather than exercising it, unless when it was time to criticize the Jintikian Government...for not being enough radical and Socialist, the new owners were still loyal to the legay of the old Post, even if its readership only declined since then. Not without reason the saying "Blue or Red, but always sensationalist" wasn't probably a polite one, but not exactly distant to the real truth. The silence of the Jintikian Government, however, was broken yesterday, when Minister of Foreign Affairs Ákos Örkeny was asked about it during a dinner in the Carpathian embassy. He denied that the United Jintikian Republic was contacted or informed about the intention of the Länlanian Government to suit the Dúchaish newspaper in either Länlanian or Jintikian soil. He rejected the importance of this controversy as well. "It's not the role of the Government to comment on the freedom of press, or in the reaction of this exercise can generate in other citizens and political parties, both national and foreign ones, much less about jokes", he said. He also rejected that his was likely to affect Jintikian-Länlanian relations, for good or for bad. "The Jintikian media, however", he declared, "should be proud that foreign countries such as Länlania are paying so much attention about what they write, even in the case of those minor newspapers which have a minor readership here, beyond what we could think personally about such an unimportant issue". He ended his declaration commenting, in a more serious tone, about the recent increase of violation of human rights by Seyss' regime in Galandria. Edited by Hadash, Apr 7 2014, 07:54 PM.

ÁKOS ÖRKENY WINS JINTIKIAN PRESIDENCY The Jintikian Bulletin | December 329 United Jintikian Party candidate Ákos Örkeny has won a clear victory in the Republic's Presidential election. Örkeny achieved 55.2% of votes, therefore avoiding a second round. Grennan Daragh, the candidate of the opposition Democratic Coalition, obtained only 39.4% of the votes. Daragh, who has been the leader of the Dúchaish Liberal Democratic Party since 320, announces his immediate resignation. Although many delegates of the opposition coalition showed their skepticism about the first official results, Daragh recognized his defeat in his final speech. An independent candidate, Tündér Bomogyi, a businesswoman from Asztthöm, was third with 4,2%. ![]() New UJR President, Ákos Örkeny, saluting supporters once the result was proclaimed official. Ákos Örkeny, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Federal Council since 326, is probably one of the most active experienced politicians. He started his political career in the Galandrian Socialist Party, which he left, following the Galandrian Revolution of 313, becoming the leader of the Communist Party of Këszországy. He had several positions on military and security affairs in the Jintikian authorites, until he became Minister of Foreign Affairs once the United Jintikian Republic was founded, in late 319. In his victory speech, Örkény pointing that this marked the day of an era, the consolidation of the Jintikian Republic, and declared that it was time to advance in the "Socialist and Progressive model which has given welfare and voice to the Jintikian peoples". He will became the second President of the United Jintikian Republic, replacing Fintan Rórdán, who has been President from 319 to 329. The elections were this time more focused on foreign policy than domestic issues, specially regarding the role of the Jintikian Government in the Galandrian War, which was considered a divisive issue. The next months are believed to be decisive for Örkény presidency, as the United Jintikian Party has currently an absolute majority. Mr. Örkény is expected to inaugurated later this month. Jintikian parliamentary elections is due in May. |
