Laws In Aemerion and Medaveian traditions that have been continuing for thousands of years have been upheld. Many of the common issues of today are quickly to be held back by the Aemerion and Medaveian government in order to prevent the curse of heracy, unfaithfulness, and disloyalty. For example the act of homosexuality is strictly punishable. To love another man is also shunned upon, and to show affection towards another man so that he would lay with this man is also punishable. Abortions in Aemeria and Medaveii, as in Kubaniza is considered first degree murder and is punished harshly. In Aemerion and Medaveian society, joining the military is almost an obligation, a sense of duty is very highly upheld, and many fathers raise their children to be in the military, especially considering Aemeria and Medaveii's war-like enemy's to the East, and how Aemeria and Medaveii's freedom can constantly be put into danger. Witchcraft is also punished by death, and is a very serious offense, with the exception of entertaining magicians, it is strictly illegal to practice sorcery to help, or heal any man in Aemeria and Medaveii. Lastly all crimes committed on Holy days, as in Kubaniza are punishable by death. Men & Woman In Aemeria and Medaveii, woman are permitted to education, but are split up from the men. Woman and men must be separated for greater concentration and efficiency in educational facilities, in the eyes of all Aemerions and Medaveians. However this does not mean woman have no place, woman can occupy any sort of job they have their eyes towards, with the exception of active duty in the military. However many woman in Aemeria and Medaveii perform the traditional side of work, often performing housework, and being a housewife to their husbands, woman are also permitted to take up the art of nursing, so that in a time of war they may be prepared to aide the troops without committing combat medics to the job. Charity Charity in Aemeria and Medaveii is highly valued, however there are some restrictions. It is illegal to give charity to any breed other than that of the Amerion and Medaveii and if needed the Kubanizans. Charity is also very limited, it is illegal to send charity abroad unless given government permission. Caring for the elderly, as in Kubaniza is additionally an obligation of all people in Aemeria and Medaveii, and is considered 'giving back' for their freedom, seeing as the elderly were the people who fought off the Lanlanians in the war 15 years prior to the present day. The Army Aemeria and Medaveii upholds a strict military tradition, and as in many countries such as Deltoria, a high sense of duty is within the hearts of the youth. Ever since the war 15 years ago against the Lanlanians, Aemeria and Medaveii's military has been growing in strength and in numbers, in the case that the Lanlanians would ever commit to an assault of Aemerion and Medaveian lands again. The Church As in Kubaniza, The Archpatriate of Aemeria and Medaveii, which is elected nationally by a congress of patriates, equstés, and sacretés, is very influential among the nobility and the government overall. Patriates, equstés, and sacretés are considered to be representatives of the Thecians of their communities. Therefore the archpatriate is considered to be a voice of the believers of Aemeria and Medaveii, and his word can be very powerful. Edited by Medaveii, Jun 20 2014, 03:46 AM.
