The C-25 "Spirit of Fire" was, perhaps, the trademark aircraft of the Carpathian air forces. The largest strategic bomber in the world, it was designed for a variety of uses and roles. One of these was diplomatic transport. Its size meant that it could not only transport envoys, but whatever services were required, such as staff cars. The plane that now approached Polas was one of several such modified C-25 aircraft that the Carpathian foreign ministry had. This one, however, bore the sigil of the Emperor. This was the new Empress' first diplomatic mission. She was known as a socialite and a charming person, which made her very suitable for this mission. She was a persuasive individual who was not afraid to speak her mind. The aircraft made its final approach and began descending towards the Sunian airport. "Polas traffic control, this is ASAF One on a special diplomatic mission, requesting final confirmation, over." the pilot hailed the Sunian authorities via the radio. Two X-18A fighters escorted the diplomatic flight, which were probably launched from a Carpathian carrier sitting in international waters. The escort was reasonable, given the importance of the person on board the C-25. The Allied States had been slow to respond to Sunia's problems, mainly due to the tensions between its southern neighbor, Monroe and Battlion, which recently erupted in all out war, following some inappropriate demands issued by the Battlionese, to which Monroe had an exaggerated response. With war brewing so close to their border, it was understandable that the Carpathians were slow to respond to other issues on their agenda. But a diplomatic mission had arrived at last and the rank of the envoy suggested that the Carpathians took Sunia's problems very seriously. If one thing was true about Carpathia, it was the fact that it never abandoned its allies. |

"Please reroute north ASAF One, things down here are FAR too dangerous for diplomatic transports to land at this time, a look out your window will tell you THAT much!" said ATC of Aterro International Airport, just as they said that, three Mia-100 fighters flew past their plane, dropping ordinance into the street below and blowing up several vehicles, many of which were being used as cover for the insurgents that had caught wind of the meeting and wanted to prove a point by attacking the airport. At this time there were several soft-skins and two tanks firing upon the insurgents, as well as dozens of infantry and militia state fighters opening fire on the heavily armed rebel forces. "Attention ASAF One, we will escort you to Alenia International where you will meet Queen Vlodovic and Countess White, and be escorted to a place of safety for your meeting with them" said two FA-16s as they pulled along either side of the plane, ready to escort them just in case Wolfgard decided to try some stupid shit today as well. Things in Sunia were not well, not well at all... a hell had broken loose in this very icy covered landscape and it seemed like Polas in itself had become the center of international attention as of late even though no one had bothered to do a damn thing about it. Rebels, Remnants, and Insurgents alike gave the state guard grief, the army a headache, and killed scores of people in the crossfire and was probably the scariest scene you could damn well ever see in your lifetime... Alenia was much safer than Polas, albeit still wartorn and ripped to ribbons by the three years of the unification wars, it wasn't as bad as Polas... one could even dare say it was the de-facto capital of the Sunian World due to how safe and stable it was. Albeit there was still a presence of armed vehicles in the city... a tradition that had been welcomed ever since the end of the war when the occasional uprising did pop up out of nowhere and annoy the everliving shit out of the government. Tisra and Jennifer both paced back and forth opposite of one-another as they waited for the word of the diplomatic team... they had known they had probably tried to go to Polas, but would be sent here, to Alenia, seeing all hell had broken loose once again in the city in itself. It was a mortifying experience for the nation to be plagued by such things... they just didn't understand, like much of the world, just HOW bad off they were when it came to fear. "Do you think she'll be nice and not a warmonger?" asked Tisra as she looked up at Jennifer, tears in her eyes as she listened to the news reports on the nearby TV as the death toll had hit approximately 120 people, not counting state guard and rebel forces on their own sides. "It's Carpatharia we are talking about dear... I am sure they aren't warmongers like Wolfgard has painted them to be..." said Jennifer as she patted the smaller fox on the head, smiling softly to her. "Just think... one day you'll be officially married, and have a family of your own... just FOUR more years!" she said with a grin. "I suppose so... I really don't like being Queen anymore to be honest, Jennifer, I think you would be a much better choice than I..." she said with a sigh. "But I can't just give it up can I? I will lose everything... again..." "Only one can pray dear..." |

Aria sighed as she looked out the window, the plumes of smoke and the fires reminding her of Bucharest City a mere ten years ago, when the capital of the Allied States had been reduced to rubble during the last civil war. She remembered well how, in a last ditch effort at revenge, the Theocracy forces simply ordered the mass murder of any and all civilians their soldiers could round up. Two million died in two days, back then. And things looked as if they might go the same way here. The aircraft rerouted towards the new airport, the two X-18A fighters still keeping close. Wolfgard wouldn't be stupid enough to attack a Carpathian diplomatic envoy and risk being obliterated by the Allied States afterwards. They would have been suicidal maniacs if they tried anything, as the end result would be... drastic. Carpathia didn't took kindly to threats, something which was made obvious when they simply nuked Medina Tharsia off the map a few years ago, after those idiots tried a nuclear attack against Bucharest. Since then, no one had been stupid enough to try something like that again. The annihilation of an entire country was still a vivid memory. Carpathia was a loyal ally, yes. But it was also a ruthless enemy. Thousands of years of never-ending war made them like that. ASAF One slowly descended towards its assigned runway, followed by the escorts. As the massive black plane taxied on the runway and ground to a halt, a significant military escort was the first to exit the cargo bay. Two military Humvees and no less than thirty soldiers, all armed to the teeth with some of the most advanced weapons in the entire world, like the SCAR-5 dual-barrel assault rifle. Aria Karthsworn was a stunningly beautiful elven woman with a warm smile on her face. It was pretty obvious what the Emperor saw in her. She was an intelligent person and a much better diplomat than her husband, the war veteran. She smiled at the Sunian officials which awaited her and greeted them courteously, her voice melodious, like a songbird's. "Greetings, friends. I am sorry about the delay, we have been... held up by pressing concerns. The recent situation in eastern Ardem has flared up and tensions are very high at this moment. I am sure you understand that the security of our people must take precedence." she spoke. She was, of course, talking about the Monroe-Battlion conflict, which has drawn Carpathia in and thus caused tensions with another Ardem power, Kingborough, which contested Carpathia for dominance over the continent. |

Tisra flicked her ears, unimpressed as they knew looks were about as good as a plastic coin. "Yes, we have been kind of... cut off from the world affairs as of late, with our own pr-" she flinched when the crack of a gunshot caught her attention, a warning shot from a state guardsmen as they arrested a Wolfgard terrorist and much like Carpathia, showed absolutely no mercy toward the man. They didn't torture him, but did rough him up a lot before hauling him off. "-oblems as you can probably plainly see as clear as day" said Tisra as she sighed and looked on with a frown. "Something needs to be done before all hell breaks loose again and we have more than enough crazies in this country willing to start another civil war over the littlest of things" "Yes, but these people are currently trying to leave behind their old ways and accept the fact that Sunia is now one state, not four." said Jennifer with a smile. "I am Jennifer White, this is her highness Tisra Vlodovic" she said, referring to the glowing eared fox as she smiled toward her. "Now I suppose you'd like to accompany us to our limo so we can go, unless you brought your own transportation of course... right?" "YOU FUZZY BASTARDS WILL PAY! AVE WOLFGARD SEIG HEIL!" shouted the man as he was hauled away, causing Tisra to shake her head at the sheer stupidity of the human. Tisra then just had to ask. "Are all humans this stupid?" "No, just the ones up north that think launching missiles into border towns is funny..." replied Jennifer as she waited for the Empress' answer |

"Then they'll think Carpathia carpet-bombing their capital is hilarious." the Empress muttered. "Of course, ladies, I would be more than happy to accompany you." Aria spoke as the two Carpathian humvees joined the Sunian convoy, followed by a truck of Carpathian special forces soldiers. "We know too well what its like to be in such a situation. Our country was not too different a mere ten years ago, in case you were wondering why everything in Bucharest is new." she spoke. "Our country has been at war for thousands of years. We have been the invader and the invaded. And when this didn't happen, we were caught up in civil wars." "However, I believe there is a solution, which worked in our case. There might be a lot more we can do for you than just financial aid." she spoke. "Our nations share a very similar recent history. And I believe you can follow in our footsteps and in a mere ten years, be on the same level we are now." "The path we have taken was that of Arcturian Ultrasocialist Meritocracy, more widely known as Dej-Arcturianism. It is the same ideology which the Monroe Republic has adopted." she spoke. Monroe was a state which made Sunia look like paradise, by comparison. The previous government handed all power to corporations, which bankrupted the country. The Monroe Republic seceded as a result and started the slow process of rebuilding, but was now at war with Battlion, the country which they have seceded from. Yet, Monroe showed great promise in the socialist world. "The reason I mentioned Monroe is because of their drive to find their own national identity and unity. They have made significant efforts in this direction and, judging by their situation, its the only thing that is keeping them from falling apart. If used correctly, propaganda can be a powerful tool to unite the people. It can instill a sense of national pride that countries such as yours are in desperate need of." Aria climbed into the limousine, still smiling at the two Sunian officials. Of course, she had further plans, which she would discuss when they reached their destination. |

Jennifer and Tisra followed suite before closing the door, motioning for the driver to begin their trek toward the Red Building, a capitol building that served as Aluez's capitol back when they were at war with the other states. "I see..." said Jennifer as she sat down and looked on toward the buildings as they drove from the airport, admiring what was left of the scenery as she flicked her tail about behind her. "Arcturian Ultrasocialist Meritocracy?" said Tisra with a headtilt. "Is that similar to Freianism because the name seems similar to what his dream sounded like before the wars ended... sadly he is not here with us anymore, so we can't ask him if he meant we should adopt this policy or another one like it..." she said with a sigh as Tisra rubbed her eyes with a grumble. "Fourteen years old and here we are fearing for our very lives that the wolf of the north is going to come charging across one day and destroy us once and for all..." Jen snrked a bit at that. "They can boast and execute all they want, they certainly won't win if they go to war with us... we survived 13 years of absolute hell and they think that in turn, they can just roll us over and make us beg like a dog? I think not... it's not in the Anthroa ways to even beg, much less give up in the face of a challenge" The city, well, what was left of it that is, was very beautiful to say the least, it reminded people a lot of a modern town known as Moskva from a country across the lake that didn't exist anymore after being nuked into obliteration by some scumbag empire that they didn't bother to learn the name of. The buildings were built with red clay bricks, and outlined with white cement to give them that bold look toward them, every brick you could see from a distance, and knew that the architecture was quite remarkable to say the least... as they pulled into the gates some two hours after a drive through the city as people were actually WELCOMING the Empress to their country in celebrations outside of the complex gates. Police didn't bother to stop anyone from seeing them as they knew to keep their distance as they didn't wanna be ran over by the convoy of trucks. As they entered the inner gates, they could see one of four new toys they had been working on as far as ground vehicles went: the MBT-95, the J-10, the IFV-4, and an unnamed and unclassed vehicle that would one day become an Anti-Air unit for their state. These vehicles had been developed and were a logistics nightmare as far as 'bugs' went for the vehicles themselves, and would hopefully one day gain production and speed through the frontlines of war as the enemies ran for their lives in terms of the vehicles themselves. "We're here!" said Tisra as she opened the door for the Empress and Jennifer, deciding to be respectful toward their esteemed guest. T'was the least they could do for her... after what they had seen they were going through after all. |

The Carpathian Empress enjoyed the drive through the city. The Sunian culture was unique and beautiful, although scarred by war. "Arcturianism is a unique system, drastically different from mainstream communism, on which it is based." she said, handing them a book about it. "It is a system which Carpathia created from the teachings of several scholars, most important of which, being Maximilian Arcturus and Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej, hence the name Dej-Arcturianism. Ten years ago, Carpathia was in the exact same situation Sunia is in now. This is what pulled us through." the empress spoke, her tone turning serious. "It has been a long and hard journey and we had to make it blindly through the darkness. But where we made mistakes, we learned and we adapted. Ours was also a gradual and peaceful transition. My husband's predecessor, Emperor Vasile Cantacuzino, is the man who started the process of reforming what was the Holy Empire of Carpathia and Moldova, into the Allied States. And these past ten years have been the most stable and prosperous period in our history." "Of course, we would like to assist our northern ally to recover faster. Which is why we are offering you a 50 billion ASL aid, over a period of ten years, which is to be delivered to your government in sections of 5 billion every year. There are no conditions, no refunds, no strings attached. All we require in return, is that you do not forgive it was us who helped you and that, once your country has recovered, you do not turn your backs on us." "Aside from that, we are also willing to offer military aid, in the form of technology, training and troops, should you require it. If you believe it is in the best interest of your nation, then the Allied States would open a forward operating base within your territory, therefore making any act of aggression against Sunia, a direct act of war against Carpathia as well. And there is also the Trilateral Alliance treaty, which guarantees you protection from its members. You have made the right choice in joining the TA. We are on peaceful, perhaps even friendly terms with the Democratic Union and powerful enough not to feat aggression from the likes of the Iron Accords and the Quarte Alliance. And Carpathia's contribution to the downfall of the Ikariun fascist regime, during their civil war, is insuring that there is no risk of aggression from the Pacium Union against us or any of our Allies." |

Tisra didn't even have to read the book to know what was in it, she seen the symbol on the front of it before shaking her head slowly from side to side. "I see... so this is what he was preaching!" she said with a soft laugh. "Oh lordy... uhm... Your Greatness, are you absolutely sure you don't have an Anthroa population in your country?" she asked with a blush, hidden by her black fur of course. "Because he... had this book, gave everyone that followed him a copy, albeit it never mentioned where it was from, so we simply figured it was from him, himself!" she added with a bigger blush, oh lordy were they in for it now if they suddenly screamed 'thief!' toward the man that helped save their nation and helped build the Kingdom they see today... albeit that kingdom is in flames currently but that was beside the point! "The only thing I see in here was the Inheritance tax... that wasn't part of his plan, his plan was a little different from that bit of information there. We tax the wealthy like this yes, but if they make under a certain amount and are investigated at the time of death, then the inheritance tax does not apply to the low-middle class workers of the country in terms of taking everything they own." said Jennifer as she read through the book on that section. "Amazingly the short time in your country did teach me a lot of things... I know how to read your language now" she said with a soft laugh and smile. "Albeit you probably don't know our system, but I'm sure spending a year here would teach you that much, right?" "Who would want to spend a year in a country like ours? We have no immigration and our population is way down there... births are heralded at miracles to be honest..." said Tisra as she walked out from the limo and was greeted by ten special forces soldiers, and two generals. "Ladies, meet General Redfang and Yamaha, the two craziest men you will ever meet, they will be attending this meeting as there is a possible chance I could allow a base or three to be built in our country..." |

The Empress smiled. "The title of Empress is a symbolic one, due to the Carpathian traditions. There is no need to address me as royalty, for I am far from being such. Like my husband, I come from the noble working class." she said. The office of the Emperor was an elected position, in Carpathia. "As for the inheritance tax, this system was introduced to finance our wellfare and education. Also, we wanted to instill in younger generations, the desire to succeed on their own. It is something derived from tradition and it does not surprise, nor upset me, that Frei made alterations to this, so that the system would better suit your nation." "As for the threat of Wolfgard, well, let's just say they won't be so happy and comfortable anymore when a Trilateral Alliance fleet comes door knocking." "What we propose is that, aside from the TA bases already situated in your country, you sign a treaty allowing an additional Carpathian base. We would use this base in order to provide escort for our trade ships in the area, as well as provide aid to any current and future allies in Pacium, before additional forces could arrive from Carpathia." |

"...that's the thing... funnily enough, we have no bases in our country" she said with a nervous laugh as Tisra looked on toward the Empress as they walked slowly toward the front doors of the red building, soon stepping in and being greeted by a true socialist atmosphere and a prideful country that spoke bounds and more bounds about how far they have come... this building seemed to be well maintained, albeit a bit old in architecture, but nonetheless, beautiful and well put together as time went on. The floors they walked upon were made of marble, the walls made of fine red oak, the outside of the building made of the strongest brick and the best moarter there was at the time to withstand the test of time itself and be sure unless someone deliberately destroyed the building, it would never be destroyed for a very VERY long time indeed. Not even mother nature had taken a toll on this structure which only added to it's wonderous beauty. As they walked into the central court lobby of the building, they were greeted by a statue of Chancellor Vlodovic himself, just an average looking Fennec Fox that had a hand in uniting the country they stood upon today... one of many would dare say he was the peoples hero before he died in a bombing run from Wolfgard back in the unification wars. At the base of the statue was a plaque with a message from Tisra that had inspired many over the years to love their families: "Thank you Father for all you have done, for our land, for me, for the very people you fought for and died for... I love you. Tisra Vlodovic." "It's really amazing how the building is average, but oh so beautiful, isn't it?" asked Tisra as she walked past the statue before coming to a pair of oak wood doors, opening them and looking inside as they were greeted by a round table, 15 seats in all, but that wouldn't all be needed, just enough to make this meeting last. "So shall we get started on trying to get our country back on track?" she asked, offering for her highness to walk on in and take a seat where ever she may like to sit |

"I know things are a bit hectic right now." the Empress said. "But you have to understand that the Trilateral Alliance has just been established. It will take some time until the logistical issues are sorted out. There is also the problem of the Monroe-Battlion war. If Kingborough intervenes, this will turn into a major conflict, the first one for the Trilateral Alliance, so as you see, there is yet another issue giving us headaches right now." "As you are aware of, there is a Quarte Alliance member at Carpathia's northern border and if Kingborough decides to attack Monroe, we will be caught in a war on two fronts, while Falsea will be cut off from the north due to the conflict in Ardem. Our biggest concern right now is that the Monroe-Battlion conflict could rapidly degenerate into a global war. Tensions are high, due to the fact that the TA and the Kingboroughian-led QA are disputing trade supremacy over the entirety of Nysa. And the Quarte Alliance is a fascist-plutocratic organization of oligarchies and absolute monarchies, so as you can see, barbaric dictatorships are threatening the freedom of the peace loving citizens of all our nations." "You have stepped into the outside world, now. And you have to begin looking at the bigger picture and firmly establish your place in the middle of things. And you have to understand that you are facing an even bigger threat than Wolfgard, which you need to begin preparing for. If the Quarte Alliance defeats the TA, they will be in a position of power which will allow them to kick the Democratic Union out of Nysa. They'd be the only alliance left in the region, allowing them to exploit, impoverish and enslave everyone without opposition." "Therefore, we will not only provide military bases and financial aid, but technological support as well. All Domestic Production Rights for any and all Chrome Industries armament is free for all TA members. I suggest you take advantage of this. Also, we will provide logistical support to help you train your military in dealing with internal and external threats." |

"We have been disconnected and in the dark of international incidents that have been going awry and wieling about in the world down south of our beloved continent, and country, so please forgive us for our ignorance as this is the first we have heard of the War and this new alliance..." said Tisra as she sighed and rubbed her eyes with a grumble and frown. "We are dying for an angel, we are dead cold and dire, with our head held up high whilst we sink into the fire..." she added with a sigh. "Do you wish for our assistance in the war? We can probably provide special forces down there as well as a light skin legion or two..." she added with a meek smile. "Not that it'd help any but... the offer is there..." "I think our best bet your majesty is to stay out of international conflicts for the moment, FOXHOUND may be the best special forces in Datium, but that doesn't mean we should send the whole legion, albeit incomplete legion, off into the fire of another war..." said Jennifer with a sigh as she patted her on the back. "I'm sure Carpathia has it covered unless they get into a nuclear throwing match with this King place, which I have never even heard of and probably was one of many nations that just disregarded us in the 13 years war..." Tisra nodded a bit before sighing. "I think you're right Countess White, but I just don't wanna be left out of the alliance and do nothing to help..." "Your majesty..." said a deep voice from the general, a Hellhound, known as Zeno Redfang. "We have another dilemma to address at this meeting as well..." he said with a sigh as he handed her a folder. "They have allies..." the bold red words Neo-Datium Alliance at the top of the paper as the vixen Queen looked on in sheer horror at the very numbers their intelligence had managed to gather... they had six nations staring them down now, instead of just one. "I think a dream of a United Datium might be best for us in the longer years... diplomacy first, and if that fails, we can possibly roll right over these fascist scumbags... to be honest this is the first I've ever heard of such an alliance..." "Me as well..." said both Tisra and Jennifer at the same time. "I think somewhere in your human history you had an empire that was composed of a thousand nations, am I wrong?" she asked as she looked toward The Empress. "Or... are you not human?" OoC
