Azurna Port, Kubaniza The day was bright, the sun was shining bright, from a distance one could see the seagulls sleeping on a perch far out to sea. The sound of the ocean surrounded what would one day be a historic marking point of what every Medaveii citizen would call the First Steps into international recognition. Francis, a Medaveii soldier, sat on a crate, his rifle to his left, and a dark green helmet sitting behind him on a larger crate. From a distance a trumpet could be heard, echoing through the wide, open streets. Francis immediately grabbed his rifle, and his helmet, placing them on him and sprinted from his comfortable location to an open courtyard where he was joined by roughly 1,000 soldiers, who had all sprinted from a sitting area in the army buildings surrounding the courtyard into a tightly packed square formation, awaiting inspection. Francis came to the middle of the square, joining his comrades, to his left, right, front, and back all could be seen was either the shine of a Medaveii helmet, or the dark coat of a Medaveii soldier. For a few minutes the soldiers stood in this position, while officers scattered around the building arrived to lead there men onto awaiting transport ships. One officer, wearing a bright white coat, a bright silver breastplate, and a white officer cap, mounted a stallion, with white wreathes about it, and pointed a sword in the direction of where the troops were facing, The troops then began to march on the spot, and once the officer proceeded forward, so did the men. The 1,000 men left the courtyard all in a tightly packed formation and approached the shore, where the officer shouted to form into your boarding groups. As soon as this was said, the 1,000 troops split up into a number of groups, separated by a few meters. As this all happened, small lesser transport ships docked at the port, each in front of one boarding group, the groups stood still, and when the officer yelled to board there assigned transport ships, the soldiers marched forward into the ships, Francis had been assigned to ship number 7, and proceeded with his group onto it. Once on the ship, the officer joined Francis on his ship, standing a authoritive figure among the loyal, and determined Medaveii soldiers. The ships, once boarded lifted there ramps, and moved forward, the officer then announced to the men on boarding ship number 7 that he was Prince Rudolf II, cousin to King Ferdinand von Medelburg, and had been assigned the glorious duty of leading the first expedition to the new world. The ships had been sailing for a matter of minutes, before out of the distance the men could see three large, military transport ships, each with massive, open gangway doors, ready for the boarding of the first Medaveii expedition. The officer then ordered the troops to board the ship once in position, and once the ship was in position, the 1,000 Medaveii soldiers boarded one of the three transport cruisers. Once on board the troops came into a large hanger bay, they formed into there square formations, awaiting further orders. Once in there formations, a officer, on each ship came up in a red ceremonial garment, the troops assumed each of these officers were naval officials, directing the expedition. The officials told the troops they were free to explore the ship, and its quarters, settle down, and prepare for roughly a week in the open ocean. The Coast of Makorland The three large transport cruisers had been sailing for something like a week now, Francis, and his group had just been alerted that there target, the coast of Makorland, west side, had been spotted by the captain, and the ships were preparing to weigh anchor, and make the first steps onto the ground of West Makorland. From the lower decks the crew of the third transport cruiser could hear the large iron anchor being pulled down to the bottom of the sea, the large anchor could be heard scraping along the sea floor for several seconds. As Francis heard this, he heard the cry of the commanding officer, Prinz Antoine von Medelburg yelling for the troops to amass on deck, and prepare for landing. Several hours passed and Francis and his regiment were making there final preparations for landing, the small boarding crafts had been set to sea, and were now collecting troops from the previous assigned boarding parties and were preparing to land on the shore of West Makorland. When Francis was called to board, he stepped off the deck, and walked down the stairs out of the gangway door into his assigned boarding craft, craft number seven. The boarding crafts had begun moving away from the three cruisers, and were heading to shore in a straight lined formation, around him Francis could see additional ships carrying things from supplies, to builders, to trucks, to even tanks. When the crafts met the shoreline, the large steel ramp fell onto the sand, yeilding a massive splash onto the troops. Francis was then ordered to set foot onto the new soil in front of him, and his comrades. And so, Francis and his regiment left the boarding ship, and headed onto the soft soil which was West Makorland. Several Weeks Later It had been five weeks since the landing, and now the military base, step one of the colonization process had been completed, trucks carrying supplies could be seen for miles, moving timber from the thick forest of West Makorland into the base, troops were scattered around the base, enjoying the warm temperatures, and the beach. No contact had been made so far with the Makor tribes, however the base, and its occupants were still on a very high alert for what could be hostiles, or allies. |

Medaveii-Occupied West Makorland It was a clear day on the frontier, the 1,000 men that had arrived on the first expedition had tripped in size already back to the mother-country. And as of a few hours ago, Prince Antoine had ordered patrols out to scout for natives, or any inhabitants to the colony... Francis was assigned to the first patrol, a group of twenty men grouped up with their commander, Sergeant Hayes, and moved out of the base. The men headed through the dense forest of the frontier of Makorland, looking through the brush for anything unusual, or perhaps alive. The patrol had been equipped with standard issue weaponry, and uniforms, like there equipment, the group was not expecting anything spectacular to happen on there routine patrol of the outskirts of the colony. The group walked through the brush, to find an opening in the trees. The Sergeant decided to explore, a field like this had not been seen in quite some time. When Sergant Hayes ordered the company to stop, and get some water, the wind fell silent, the birds that'd been chirping could be heard no longer, the group knew something was up. Hayes ordered the men to fall in on him, and keep your eyes open when suddenly, Francis looked into the brush, to see a pair of beady eyes staring back at him. And before Francis could say anything, a arrow went whizzing towards his face, piercing the mans skull, as he fell a foot back, onto the cold hard ground. As soon as this happened, arrows from all sides were being fired from all around, the men attempted to repel the hostiles by shooting into the forest, but to no avail there bullets were useless in this situation... And after about an hour, all of the twenty men remained with Francis, a body on the cold hard ground, of a foreign, and mysterious new land. |

Fort Lorraine, West Makorland It had been several weeks since the natives attacked the patrol deep in the jungle. The colonial authorities took the matter lightly, simply pulling back a few patrols that deep into the brush in order to continue work on the first city in the area. They had decided that the Fort of Lorraine was to be converted into a city, so that Medaveii merchants, and workers could get jobs there, and begin exporting the rich agricultural goods of the West Makor colony. Day by day, workers and soldiers were coming in from the mother country, seeking work as a settler, building Medaveii's colonial future, and at the same time earning the high wages the government supplies to colonial settlers. The city had been designed to have various skyscrapers, so that businesses could move from large cities in Medaveii like Bonavitto, Polana, and Medaveii in order to expand there horizons economically. The government also planned to continue work on the other towns down the coast, building fishing villages, small cities, and production centers for the large fields, fit for grain production. However, despite the decision to pull back patrols, the government knew that if these natives did attack there men, and that the goal of the expedition was to move inland in order to begin agricultural production, so seeing these natives as a threat the Medaveii government decided to send two more brigades, numbering at 2,000 men in order to properly sweep down the coast, and then eventually inland to hopefully make peace with the natives, and begin co-operating, or if need be show force unto the attackers. Wilderness, West Makorland The once silent plains of the coast of West Makorland were now bustling, concrete roads had been constructed, and trucks and supplies were moving down the road transporting men, and supplies to various coastal villages, towns, and military bases along the coast. However on this day it wasn't just trucks traveling down the road. After a native tribe killed three settlers on the road earlier this week, the colonial officals voted to sweep the natives out of the coastal area, and assigned Colonel Minden to do the job. "1st company to 8th company, we're now leaving Medaveii land, watch to the East for natives. Over." Said a 1st company sergeant. "Copy that 1st, eyes to the East, artillery directing course west, proceed with defensive procedure." Said the 8th company sergeant, sitting in his tank at the back of the column. "Company 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and 8 this is Colonel Minden aboard heli-27, we've spotted what looks like a camp fourteen kilometers east of your location, proceed with offensive procedure, hold back for additional information regarding the defenses, Minden out." Said colonel Minden to the party via radio. "Copy that" repeated the 8 company commanders. "Minden to offensive group 1, defenses look poor, no warriors spotted, must be sleeping, proceed with reconnaissance squadron 4 up the hill to get a closer look, Minden out." Said Minden "Copy Minden" Repeated the 8 captains. "Sqaud, move up on me, keep your heads down, nightvision on!" Said Sergeant Aucinclausse as he signaled men to follow him up the hill. The squad procceded up the hill, and went into the prone position, taking out laser markers and binoculars the four men over-saw the native camp, seeing various guards patrolling around armed with stolen Kubanizan, and Medaveii weapons, he also saw dead bodies huddled around a stone, assuming it was a sacrifice Aucinclausse spat onto the ground in response. "Minden, we have sight of the natives, they're armed with modern weaponry, about 30 guards spotted around the camp, rest asleep, S-4 out." Said Sergeant Aucinclausse. "Copy that, pull back to the group." Said Minden to the Sergeant. "Company 2 and 3 bring 10 of your best snipers to the hill, pull two tanks behind the hill for artillery support, over." Said Minden. "Copy that Minden!" Said the company commanders. As asked, the men, and artillery moved to their position, Minden then signaled for the attack to begin. The snipers, using silenced, and deadly weaponry fired onto the 30 guardsman scattered around the camp, easily putting an end to the camps defenses. "Objective achieved, Minden, proceed with further orders, over." Said the commander of the sniper team. "Copy that Commander, companies 2 and 3 send four armored cavalry units, supported by a company of infantry, and sweep out the camp, Minden out." "Copy that sir, moving in." Said the third company commander. The armored cavalry then moved slowly and somewhat quietly into the village, as snipers overlooked the camp, the infantry moved in with the tanks, each infantryman was ordered to do a specific task, some 10 men left the group and went by the outskirts of the village, where natives lay in their tents, these men show them, with silenced weaponry not to alert the camp. The remaining some 20 men and tanks proceeded into the village, the infantry killing off the natives alone in tents, when the commander of the company spotted the chiefs hut, a hut roughly 100 square meters large, inside he saw roughly 100 people sleeping on the ground. As the tanks moved through the village, one native happened to slowly rise from his slumber, and when he saw the tanks, he screamed as loud as he could, alerting the some 200 men left in the village. Immediately the natives began firing onto the group, as the group took cover behind whatever they could find, tanks, trees, and even some of the twig huts around the village. However the native weaponry was far lesser than that of the Medaveii soldiers, and within about an hour the tanks and infantry had easily over-run the village. The men made sure to leave the village intact, as the commander had ordered. "Well done men, return to base, that should allow our settlers to move somewhat inland, and stopped the killing of settlers along the road." Said Colonel Minden from his helicopter, as he saw the army re-con-vein and head down the road back to Lorraine. West Makorland, Medaveii, 6 months after landing Now that the natives had been driven from the coast, and several dozen miles inland, the colonial administration settled to send from Medaveii more and more supplies to build up the current towns into cities along the coast, in-fact the progress is somewhat substantial, the colony's largest city, of Lorraine has almost been fully constructed, with churches, government buildings, a fully functioning immigration port, a small airfield for commercial jets, a military base, and religious buildings, like churches, and a massive cathederal in the cities center. With the positive progress of Lorraine, works to make the coast self-sustainable have begun as hundreds of farmers have been immigrating to West Makorland to farm the rich, and fertile soil of what the farmers call the grain coast. The new influx of workers along the coast and several hundred miles inland has allowed for food to be produced, and supplied to the local population. And with the recent conquest over the natives along the coast the Medaveian people are happier than ever on the subject of colonization, as it now provides Medaveii with a large supply of various agricultural products, not to mention the prestige of reigning as a colonial power amoung the great nations of Capresia. Colonial officials have also finished work on other smaller cities along the coast, including the fishing town of Finistre, and the slightly inland town of Saintonage. However the colonization process is far from over, although the Kingdom may hold much of the coastal land, and almost half of the colony, many various native tribes hold out in the North West, now alert of the Medaveii presence are anything but the hoped for peacefulness of their assumed culture, and all colonials, and Medaveians know that the North west will be the hardest job for Medaveii yet. However, in order to pressure the hostile natives in the north west the government of Medaveii has provided the armed forces with translating devices in order to communicate with some of the less harming tribes of the North East of the colony, and the government plans on making a deal with these natives to work together in co-operation, and avoid the bloody chaos that war is. Wilderness, West Makorland "Looks all clear around here captain, why did they send us out here anyway?" Said Private Roberts of the 8th Fusilliers Regiment. "I'd assume to continue patrolling around the area, Private. It is known that natives inhabit these forests, natives that might be interested in talks." Said Captain Champlaine. As the men continued through the small forest, they came to see a large plain, about it sat various kinds of huts, and tents. "That must be it there men, take out your translating devices!" Said the Captain. The men proceeded into the camp, they strapped their guns to their backs to make themselves seem less harmful. The Captain proceeded to a Native, who became alert, pointing his spear towards the small group of 7 men. The Captian said something into the device, which repeated the phrase out of the translator in the Makor language. The native looked up, a bright smile on his face as he spoke into the device, which repeated in the Medaveian language "Come with me, I show you to the chief." The Captain, now happy with the small, but positive progress he made proceeded with the native to a large thatched hut, made of hay, twigs, and hide. Inside was a old man, sitting about a sturdy wooden throne of sorts, the native said something to the chief in the Makor language, and the chief gave a somewhat sarcastic smile to the group. As he did this, the native spoke into the translator, repeating in the Medaveian language "Remove your arms, and enter the room over there, the chief will see you soon." Said the Native, the group followed as instructed, dropping their weapons to the ground and proceeded into the room. The room was made of wood, unlike the rest of the buildings, something seemed wrong about the hut, the captain looked through the window, to see a group of 10 men's heads lying on spikes along the edges of the camp. The Captain knew that this was the first patrol the colonial authorities sent out, after the landing, and that these natives were -definitely- not as friendly as the officals had presumed. Suddenly, as the captain and his men stood in shock overlooking there fallen comrades at the edge of the camp, they heard nothing. Through the window though, they saw a man, he didn't look like a native, in fact he looked almost like a Medaveian, a layer of bright pale skin, and a gaunt face, he had long blonde hair, and he was carrying something, a small silver coloured cylinder, on it it had words, as the captain tried to read it, the cylinder was thrown into the wooden hut, and as the man then closed the windows wooden hatch, the now enclosed room began to start to become hard to breathe in. In about a minute the air in the room was a thick green colour, and the men within it were finding it harder and harder to talk, breathe, think. As quickly as he could, the captain took out his radio, and switched it to emergency channel number 16 and said... "Attention, natives in northern woods, eastern woods, and western woods are -not- friendly, not much time, there's an inside man, someone working with the natives, stand clear of any interaction wi-" the transmission cut off, as the captain dropped the radio, unable to breathe, he coughed multiple times before joining his 7 men on the ground of the wooden hut. And for the second time in this expedition, a patrol goes away, without a trace. |

"This is One news, Medaveii's top news source, Kendra Whitaker reporting live from West-Makorland" It has been a number of months after the patrol had been captured, and brutally murdered at the hand of Northern Makorland hostiles. In the time following the incident the government has taken much action to further secure the villages and cities along the coasts. In addition the government has voted to send additional troops, builders, engineers, and such to speed up the colonization process. In the past month(s) the colony has escalated in size, many of the citizens of Lorraine have moved north west to establish farms along the rich plains of the central west Makorland in search of building income and expanding the colony itself. Following speculation of the hostiles becoming, more hostiles colonial officials have stepped up defenses, and troop movement. Speculation remains whether the government will commit a large force to wipe out the remaining natives of the colony. "This has been Kendra Whitaker reporting, live from West-Makorland" |

Lorraine Airport, West Makorland "What?" Said General Minden to Field Marshal Seld over the phone. "His Majesty is coming." Said Seld once more. "His Majesty, what for?" Said Minden. "To over-see your month of preparation be put into effect on the field. And over-see the end of the native hostilities in the colony, General Minden." Said Field Marshal Seld. "What, me? Yes, yes sir. I shall make the preparations for his majesty's arrival, sir." Said Minden, as Seld ended the call. Minden got up from his chair in the army headquarters of the colony's capital, Lorraine. "Right... Colonel Selmon, assemble every last man in this city into parade uniforms, and to rendavous with their assigned groups at the airport, in two hours." Ordered Minden. "All... Of them? What for, sir?" Asked the Colonel. "You will see, Colonel. Just do it." Replied Minden. "Yes, sir." Said Selmon. One hour, thirty minutes later, Lorraine Airport The sound of planes landing, and taking off had passed about an hour ago. And now the airport had just been cleared of all aircraft, veichles, ect. Except for a few aircraft directors, and security jeeps patrolling around the large compound. Colonel Minden had just arrived, with him the Medaveii expeditionary force, veterans of months in the colony, and the harsh conditions of its populance. The men came in groups of 100 men, from Lorraine, in convoys of three trucks. Twenty-five trucks, carrying a total of 2,500 men of the colonial expeditionary force parked in the military parking space of the airport, and once out, marched in their groups towards the runway where the general had told the 25 commanders to lead their men to. One hour later, Lorraine Airport All 2,500 men of the expeditionary force flooded onto the runway, taking positions on either side of it, behind them, on the road tanks, veichles, supply, and fuel trucks could be seen coming to a halt on the road, as the men in the trucks stepped out of their veichles, looking to the sky, and yeilding a salute. The men of the expeditionary force gave a harsh, and repsected salute, looking with both love, and loyalty to the royal jet, which flew closer, and closer to the airport. The jet came in for its landing, as roughly twenty smaller fighter escort jets around it left the royal aircraft, and turned the other way around, back home. The royal aircraft came onto the landing strip with ease, touching down on the concrete runway, until it made its stop. The men all saluted, as the door of the forward cabin was opened, and the stairs pulled down. The men could see General Minden, approaching the stairs. After about five minutes a group of ten men moved down the stairs, and secured the aircraft, every man in the expeditionary force knew who these men were, from their pin, a red dragon upon it on their black, and white suits. As the men secured the aircraft, a man, dressed in bright red pants, a white stripe to their side. He wore a thick white coat, going down just below his hips, on his coat lay an uncountable amount of medals, and awards. He wore a red and white sache over his torso, a dragon in the sache's centre. The man stepped out of the aircraft, and onto the steps, as he came into the light his bright pale face, his almost purple eyes, and swished back light, blonde hair came into view. Every man in the army knew who this was, this was their king, and he was here to put an end to the hostile natives which had only proved murderers to innocent people, looking to make a good life in the new lands. As the man stepped down the stairs, General Minden bowed before his king, the King halted his decent down the staircase, and looked down at the army of 2,500 men, saluting in respect, loyalty, and utmost respect towards him. Behind the king proceeded about five men dressed in suits, lords of the Picteii, and Medaveii lands on the homeland. The King and his lords proceeded down the stairs to the ground, where the King shook Mindens hand, as a green jeep stopped in front of the King, who proceeded to board it. Minden then, as ordered hopped onto the jeep also, handing the King a microphone. The king nodded to the general, and faced his men, as he begun speaking into the microphone. "Soldiers of the colony of West Makorland, blood of Medaveii, I am not here to advise your generals on dealing with those who would see our homes, our people removed from these lands, and our people at home, Medaveii, starve. I am here to over-see the complete, and utter romoval of those that would see our lives here destroyed. Our country, back home suffers from a lack of food, why? Because the lands of Medaveii can no longer sustain our population at home, it is with great courage and assurance as I announce to you the point of your being here, is not to secure additional prestige for our country, my dynasty, and my people, but for the continued -survival- of the people of Medaveii, of the 1000 year monarchy! And today, my friends our armies shall kill five natives for every innocent man, woman, and child massacred at their hands, I give you my word, that now another innocent life will perish at the hands of the West Makor murderers!" Enthusiastically shouted King Ferdinand von Aerion. |

'The Brown Hills', West Makorland The hills were now in sight, as the convoy headed down the road. 2,500 soldiers, 100 tanks and armored vehicles, various trucks, supply trucks, fuel trucks, to troop carrying trucks proceeded down the long, narrow road, up the hill, to Asinoff hill, which was just 300 meters away from the Brown Hills, where the native warriors had made camp just a day ago, according to reports from Medaveian satellites and reconnaissance. These men were tasked with destroying the last of the large-scale native resistance on the colony of West Makorland so that farms could be established on the colony, to aide in feeding the people back in the mother country of Medaveii. Every soldier knew that the task they would soon face would not be an easy one, with knowlege that the natives had chemical weapons, and various different Kubanizan weapons, the men were in no way over-confident in this final battle with the very hostile natives of the Northern Makorian plains. As the vehicles reached the top of Asinoff hill, the radio directed the vehicles to certain positions around the hill, the soldiers could see the high wooden walls at the top of the Brown Hill's largest hill, One Tree Hill, which was named after the one white willow tree at the peak of the hill. Many of the trucks stopped, and soldiers hopped out, proceeded to the top of the hill where they grouped into their assigned groups, assigned by squadron, company, and platoon. As the men formed into their positions, a group of two armored anti-infantry vehicles and one Humvee proceeded to the top of the hill, as the Humvee's door opened, the King, Ferdinand Aelion of Medaveii stepped out, and over-looked his surroundings, the One Tree Hill, the plains, his man. The King was wearing a black robe, collared with dragon-scale, a very rare delicacy for Medaveii's nobles. As he exited the vehicle, along with him came General Minden, and Field Marshall Semly who immediately began briefing the King on the attack plan. Three Hours Later, Miday The Generals, and the King had made their final decisions on the battle plan, and as the King sat down on a luxurious chair, overlooking the plains ahead, and the Brown Hills, he gave the signal to Field Marshal Semly to commence the assault on One Tree Hill. As the signal was given, Minden and Semly spoke to all of the platoon commanders, and gave orders to commence the assault following the decided upon procedure for the assault, and capture of the Brown Hills. As soon as the orders were given, ten M4A4 Leo's proceeded down the plain, towards the hill. These fast moving anti-infantry vehicles were the first part of the attack. As they reached half way, about 150 meters until they'd reach the base of the hill, artillery, and tank shells began blazing onto the top of the hill, preventing the engagement of any Native Rockateers, and at the same time disabling their wooden walls. As soon as the M4A4 Leo's reached the base of the hill, about five soldiers disembarked each, these men were most likely the most elite of the elite of Medaveii's soldiers, the soldiers proceeded slowly up the hill, giving signal to the M4A4 Leo's every now and then to follow them at a slow pace, around 20 meters behind them. The group of men proceeded up, until they reached the top of the hill, as the artillery, and tanks halted their fire, their effects remained, much of the low quality wooden walls had been destroyed, the only question was however, who remained on the other side. The commander of the men signaled to the others to attach their gas-masks just in case, and put their semi automatic weapons into fully automatic. The group swiftly, after being given the order proceeded into the fortress, to find no one there, nothing. The surprised group began to clear the area, looking slightly more relaxed. The M4A4 Leo's entered afterwards, when no trace was found, the commander signaled the General. But as he switched to the administration channel, one of his soldiers said "Sir, I found somethi-" the commander, slightly suspicious walked toward the voice, and then heard the scream "It's a trap, get out!" before a single shot being fired, most likely into the mans heart. The commander then shouted to all of his men to immediatly disperse, with all haste, while they still could, but it was too late. One of the natives came running out of one of the huts, a large bomb strapped onto his chest, as he came closer to the men, one of the soldiers shot him, however this caused the exact oppisate effect he intended, as the man blew up, consumating the entire hill in flames, all 60 men perished. At the camp the King smacked the arm of his armchair, as he saw the explosion. He then ordered the commence of plan B. After his order, the 25 tanks stationed on the hill immediately began blowing the Brown Hills, after about thirty shots, nothing could be seen but smoke. As the commander took out his binoculars, and looked onto the Hills, he saw something, a man, brown, carrying a flaming torch. The commander immediately rose from his seat shouting "They're coming! They're coming!" As he said this the King stood from his chair, Field Marshal Semly also, however the King pushed him back down saying "You are relieved of your position, Field Marshal." The King then took the field marshals radio and gave various orders to many of the groups. As soon as he gave the orders, about 500 men advanced from the base of the hill to the top, moving to a prone position atop of the hill, facing the smoke. About 25 tanks would also proceed to the base of the hill below the infantry. Behind the infantry sat 10 M4A4 Leo's, also facing the smoke. Coming out of the smoke, the King, his men, and his generals all saw countless native warriors, carrying grenades, bows, and arrows, guns, and even bazooka's. However it was what was behind the men that really alarmed them, tanks. The natives had tanks. As the King began to complain to the Field Marshal about how the natives had this weaponry, he noticed he was gone. The inside man had just been found, by his own overlord, the man who coordinated of all of the patrols, this is the reason why military performance had ground to a halt... Without thinking, the King turned to the front, and ordered the tanks to begin firing, the M4A4 Leo's, and the infantry to hold fire, and for the artillery to barrage the countless men heading for them, with the desire for Medaveii blood. The soldiers army came closer, with growing furiosity even after losing countless to an artillery, and tank barrage. The King then took charge, ordering the anti-infantry vehicles to open fire, and for the infantry to begin firing. The King also called in 500 more men for reinforcements to reinforce the positions along the hill. The natives came closer, and closer, the bodies of so many lining all across the fields of the Brown Hills, but that meant nothing but more ferocity for when the Natives do arrive. The natives had just made it passed half way, wanting not to lose his tank-men, the King ordered the 25 tanks, about 20 meters in front of the infantry to be disembarked, and for the crewmen to assist in the infantries effort to shoot down the natives, one by one. The natives came close, very close, about 30 meters remained between the two forces. The King then began to scramble, his Kingsguard of about 10 men surrounded him, as he proceeded to a heavily armored anti-infantry vehicle. The troops put there fire onto fully automatic, killing dozens of natives at a time, before they stood up, unable to shoot anymore, knowing they'd soon engage in melee combat, something not seen often in the battles within Capresia, and Nysa. The natives just passed the tanks, the men presented their rifles, after arming them with the bayonets, a tool not used in actual battle in decades. The men gave one last magazine's worth of fire, before the natives arrived, clashing into the hard fighting men of Medaveii's expedition force. The King overlooked the battlefield from the vehicle, countless dead scattered over the Brown Hills, and he only knew that that dead count would increase. The men began fighting the Natives, there harsh discipline, and good training seemed to have payed off, as from the Kings point of view, the battle looked to be in his favour. As the men continued the fight, the natives continued to perish, the situation for them increasingly became more and more hopeless. A chiefly figure proceeded through the crowd of fighters, he carried a large steel spear, which was killing off the Kings men one, by one. Taking advantage of all instances of technology however, the King radioed to the remaining 1,500 men awaiting orders at the base of the hill to commence a flanking maneuver upon the natives, and that they did, the men proceeded around the native, and the massive melee fight, to the natives side, before firing vishiously upon the native warriors. That skilled, and brave chief was the first to die, as he fell to the ground, the situation for the native people seemed increasingly hopeless, and as they retreated, the shouts of joy, and happiness echoed over the entire plains, as they over-looked the men that had killed their citizens, the people they were sworn to protect, run from their superior weaponry, and tactics. The Colony of West Makorland Ever since the native hostiles were routed off the colony, and out of Makorland things have been going far better than previous, the farms were now fully constructed, and beginning to make produce, not to mention that the colony has not yet faced any real death toll of citizens, soldiers, or workers in the previous month or so. And it looked as if the colony was facing a golden age, when everything was working fine. The people of the colony currently are currently witnessing an expand of agriculture, and infrastructural growth within the colony. It has been some time since food has began production in the colony, and the first shipment of fresh grain, from what the people of the colony are now calling the grain coast, is being shipped back to Medaveii to aide in the struggle for agricultural goods. After the battle, also many of the soldiers of the expeditionary force grew in experience, and tolerance for the native population, for the part of that population that was friendly to Medaveii, anyhow... |
