Murdering his adoptive father, razing the village he called home, beating him to a pulp and throwing him in prison where he worked in the munitions factory in concentration camp-like conditions... Melas had a lot to hate the regime for but particularly Fanaitis who was responsible for the majority of it. He moved to some no-name village nobody had ever heard of as a means of basically trying to run away from those problems and forgetting everything. Then Fanaitis still manages to randomly run into him, and off to Vathys Chezo he goes.

"Unless I do something so that I can say I at least tried to make a change and kill that bastard Fanaitis and dump his body in the ocean somewhere, I think he'd haunt me for the rest of my life." Melas said. "While I don't know if Admiral Osafenes's intentions are genuine, he at least is the only one talking about making serious changes to the system. It had been my plan since when I heard about what was happening that when or if I got out, I would join on his side.

"I have no grand aspirations for myself, I just want to see Fanaitis dead and the Directorate dismantled."

Soren smiled. "Just goals in their own right," he sighed. The nurse withdrew at last, placing the syringe with Melas' blood in a metallic suitcase and excusing herself from the office. There were a few moments of silence after she left, in which Soren seemed lost in thought.

In the end, however, "Very well. You're welcome to stay a while--I'm sure your body could use the downtime to recover it's strength. I also request that you allow us a few days to prepare a few packages. Lyke will make the necessary arrangements to ensure you return home in one piece."

((OOC: Blllaaaaarrrrggg.... I guess this is it? Just a short little "zomg, he is Bonde" thing and then shipping him home with some funds and maybe some muscle?))

"Thank you," Melas didn't want to seem impolite to the supporter of his cause, but wasn't really sure what sort of expression would be appropriate. A bow, or maybe just a nod would be appropriate? He ended up giving a half-bow that in hindsight he thought must have looked quite awkward. "Uh but before I go though, there is one thing I would like to ask. You said you would send me home with 'supporters.' What did you mean by that?"
