0800 in the morning and Jandrea's defense minister, Thomas Gadera, stood on a hill overlooking the border between Jandrea and Atharon. On the horizon stood the Lehar alps otherwise known as the Emerallan alps to many Jandreans, surrounding much of the land. Not too far away stood the town of Orca, the street lights dotting the dark landscape. Gadera wasn't taking a nightly stroll pondering his life, oh no. He was overlooking the horizon as his men, the Jandrean Ground Forces, with numerous tanks and heavy vehicles, and about 90,000 men, crossed this border into Atharon. This was an invasion by Jandrean forces, and invasion he and millions of Jandreans saw as an inevitability, a date with destiny. Atharon was to be reunited with Jandrea, and Gadera was given the job of ensuring this would happen. Years in the making, and the fate of Jandrea's reunion rested her armed forces.

Gadera turned around and walked toward a make shift tent on the hill surrounded by more troops. Inside the tent was a table with a map of Atharon dotted with arrows and various writings, a strategy for an invasion in the works. Pointing and looking down at the map stood JAF commander Rofelle Strator and Naval commander Adam Torres. When Gadera entered they both stood up.

"What are doing here Torres, I told you that we do not require the presence of the navy in our expansion, the Atharonians are purely land peoples, we're wasting tax payer money and time with the presence of the navy in this" Gadera said.

"Oh on the contrary Defense Minister, the Navy will be much needed in this invasion, you need us to blockade the Atharonian Capital and I am here with Roverans blessing" said Torres folding his arms. "You're not getting rid of us that easy, we're in this too and I have ships on route to the Cieldander harbour as we speak".

"Might we get down to business gentlemen?" said JAF commander Stratos. "I have a number of squadrons on route to the Capital, we'll ensure the skies are clear once the ground forces arrive" said the JAF commander.

Gadera looked at the map and began rubbing his chin. "Indeed, we take out the heart of Atharon, Ceilander, and the whole damn province goes down with it." "You know we built the damn city ourselves and they've had it as their capital for decades now so it's about bloody time it returns to us".

Sounds of loud blasts and firing guns were then heard and Gadera turned to the outside of the tent. "Looks like our boys are in overtaking the town of Orca now. I predict that Atharonian defense forces should respond within the hour, I advise you commander Stratos that you strike down their airforce base in Ceilander at once. We should be able to wipe their entire airforce with just our 3 squadrons. Keep the skies clear and my men will be march on" Gadera said with his arms folded behind his back.

Meanwhile in the Anthron Capital of Vleichtmont Defence Secretary Aiden McAllister just got a defence cable from ADF headquarters (Antheron Defence Force) the cable said. “Janderan Invasion of Orca in progress”
Aiden McAllister widened his eyes. “Those fucking assholes.” He then rushed off to the Presidents office. Rushed in President Gregory Reynolds’ Office. “Mr President have you seen this, its crazy.” The President responded in a panicy tone “Yes I know…This came into my office just now I have already deployed the army, I’m sending 20,000 troops to the east right now…General Hermen Flair is already there now”.

Meanwhile in Orca

General is commanding an artillery counter defence division. Their weapon approximately 20 Fjåp archer self-propelled artillery systems (OOC: It’s basically the Swedish Archer artillery vehicle). It’s a specimen of Fjåp engineering, mounting takes only 30 seconds, and capable of being remotely controlled from the inside when being positioned and capable of speeds of up to 80 Km an hour, perfectly made to destroy and get awa fom the scene of the conflict fast.

The next hour the Janderean armed forces would be a witness to an assault of mortor shells reigning down on their encampments just outside of the town, citizens were orders ro evacuate as 3 divisions of infantry men armed with M4 Rifles all scattered within the hills and forests surrounding Orcia, as they run and slowly encircle the surrounding army as they let them in through the town, but slowly move troops around the town in an attempt to cut them off.

(OOC: kind of last minute I know, but I didn’t know that this had a time frame, so I kind of rushed it)

On the ground in the town of Orca, Jandrea's 9 divisions of Infantry hid behind the various buildings as they fired down the main road toward the Atharonian military. Rodrick Tamlin, the leader over this infantry, then received a message from one of his men.

"Sir, we just got word that the Atharonians are trying to encircle us, this may hinder our progress" said the infantrymen as he handed Tamlin a message from JAF HQ.

"Indeed, we expected they'd attempt this, it's time to notify the 10th and 11th infantries to come from around the northern area, when they begin attacking behind the backs of the surrounding Atharonian forces, they'll force them to have to defend both sides" said Tamlin. He then sent a radio message to the other two divisions of infantry outside the town to begin moving in.

Soon after the Atharonian forces who had slowly moved into the town in an attempt to surround the Jandrean forces were met with an attack from behind them. The Jandrean infantries from both sides eventually overwhelmed Atharonian defense forces eventually surrounding them.

Defense Minister Gadera stood over the hill overlooking the lands of Atharon when he was approached by one of the military ground forces coordinators. "We've captured one of the largest towns west of Atharon Capital Defense Minister" he said.

"Excellent, that just leaves the towns of Nolland and then the coast town of Meyers before we reach the capital. As I understand our other forces should be moving in there in due time".

An hour passed and soon the town of Orca was overtaken by Jandrean forces. The surviving Atharonian military forces in that town were taken the holding camps, the order was to minimize as much casualties as possible. The townhall was turned into a JAF military headquarters and soon Gadera made his way to the town to oversee progress and to be closer to the fighting.

The Town of Nolland, the second day of fighting

As the JAF forces began to to enter into the town border of Nolland they were immediately met with gun fire. They knew that as they got closer to the capital, the resistance would increase, and Atharonian forces demonstrated this before those JAF infantries could enter into the town of Nolland. Many of the JAF infantries then hid in the forests firing back at the Atharonian military in the town. Soon 'Canon guns', large machine guns mounted on wheels, were brought in by JAF military vehicles and were set up surrounding the town. They were then used to fire upon the Atharonian forces hidden within the various streets and buildings. Not to far behind the surrounding JAF forces were various JAF tanks and military vehicles, around 50 of them, lining up ready to enter into the towns. These tanks were not used in the battle for Orca, but were intended for use in the neighboring towns around the Capital where the resistance would be significant. The order was then given by Gadera to begin moving in the tanks as forces slowly continued fighting piece by piece on their way to the capital.

Gatekeepers of the Atharonian heart

1000's of Jandrean troops arrived to the outskirts of the Atharonian capital in the woodlands and hills. After a 4 week campaign Jandrean forces had lost over 9,000 men and women in the expansion, with many more Atharonian casualties. Major Tamlin, the leader of the initial infantry that lead the first wave of attacks on the border town, arrived with his forces in the pine forest reserves. Hidden between the pines he was instructing his forces on the final move to gain Atharon.

"Cielander, this is the heart we need to strike boys" Tamlin said while inspecting his men. Behind Tamlin in the far horizon stood the skyline of Cielander, already battered by Jandrea's airforces. Various tanks were already passing by prepared to enter into a ground battle. All of a sudden shots were fired at Tamlin's division and all the soldiers immediately took cover.

"THIS IS WHAT WE'VE BEEN PREPARING FOR BOYS" said Tamlim reaching for his guns. Jandrean ground forces then began returning fire and so it began. 10,000's of Jandreans forces then slowly began moving towards the capital signalling the final move to retake the land of Atharon.

Cielander, Atharon

"Sir, the Jandreans have reached the outskirts of the city," reported an officer.

"They're here already?" came the reply from General Beckler. Wiping the sweat off of his forehead, he said, "Have your tasks been completed?"

"Yes, sir. Weapons have been distributed to the population and many of the streets near the outskirts have been mined. All available planes have been scrambled to win the skies, with help from our SAM and AA emplacements of course. The 9th Armored Division just arrived from the Lehar Alps to aid in the fighting. The artillery batteries to the west have been given their fire coordinates and are ready to provide fire support."

"What about the government?"

"The last of them are being evacuated out of the city as we speak. The rest of the government officials have been moved to the new temporary capital at Nin'Kutcha."

"Good. Let the party begin, then."

Outskirts of Cielander

Peeking his head just above the window sill, Jeffrey could see a Jandrean tank with infantry support chugging along the street towards his position. Looking across the street, he could see an Atharonian soldier carefully peering out the same window he was. Jeffrey was no soldier. He worked at the local post office and had just had a gun thrown into his arms by some of the soldiers.

After a little bit of guidance, though, he could work his weapon just as well as any other man. As the tank got closer, the soldier across the street flashed the universal "OK" sign, which was their agreed symbol to begin the attack. Jeffrey pulled the pin on a grenade he'd been given and tossed it down to the Jandrean soldiers below him.

Across the street, the Atharonian soldier leaned out of the window, modern Fjap-style AT launcher in hand, and fired a rocket at the tank. Suddenly, gunfire began all around the Jandreans as seemingly empty windows were filled with armed Atharonian civilians and soldiers. Many Jandreans dropped dead before they could find cover. Jeffrey fired long bursts at whatever Jandreans he saw poke their heads up. Meanwhile, the tank was immobilized but not dead. Jeffrey turned to face the Jandrean tank just in time, as he saw it pivot its cannon to face him.

"TAKE COVER!" he yelled to no one in particular as he turned around and jumped out of the room just before it was destroyed in an explosion. Jeffrey took several moments to recover his senses, his ears still ringing from the cannon shot. By the time Jeffrey got to his feet and looked down at the street, all of the Jandreans were dead in the streets and the tank had been killed by a second rocket.

"Good job, boys," some Atharonian officer said, "Let's get back to work, shall we?"

(OOC: Assume these kinds of ambushes and urban fighting will be going on all across the city. They are armed with modern weaponry and many streets will be mined to prevent Jandrean vehicles from moving in. The civilian population has been armed as well and is actively participating in the fighting.)

Major Tamlin sat behind the tree with a wounded arm and quickly running out of ammunition. He sat there in horror while shots were still being fired from out the citys' various suburban households on the city edges. Tamlin just witnessed 1000's of his men and almost all of the first tank forces to arrive in the city get wiped out from a blast sent by Atharonian forces. What remained of Tamlins forces were afew men who were now defending the first divisions as opposed to pushing towards the city. One of the soldiers quickly ran to major Tamlin, crawling through the shrub and bushes in the woods towards Tamlin while shots were passing right above him, he then finally reached the major.

"SIR, WHAT IS THE NEXT MOVE, WE WILL NOT GET REINFORCEMENTS IN THE NEXT HOUR AND WE CANNOT HOLD OURSELVES ANY LONGER AGAINST THE ATHARONIANS LIKE THIS" said the soldier, screaming while shots were fired above them.

Tamlin then took out a cigar and a match he was holding in his pocket and sighed while he took afew puffs out of it. "Contact commander Stratos and get him to bomb the hell out of that city. This should give us time to reunite with the other coming divisions" Tamlin said. "Once we bomb those buggers out of the households they're hiding in, we'll be able to assume control of the first outer edges of the city".

"Are you sure sir?? I thought our orders were to keep Atharon intact?? what good is it IF WE BOMB HALF THE DAMN CITY??"

"DON'T QUESTION ME SOLDIER, OUR ORDERS ARE TO ASSUME CONTROL OF THE CITY AND IF THIS MEANS WE HAVE TO BURN IT DOWN, WE'LL DO JUST THAT" said Tamlin clutching the soldiers collar.

Straight away the soldier let go and took out portable radio communicator and contacted JAF command. Not long after screaming sounds were heard in the air that were enough to silence the sounds of the shots being fired between the two sides. Multiple fighter jets from the Jandrean Airforce laid fire to Atharons outer city. The sounds of bombs were heard and the screams of various soldiers and probably civilians were heard from outside..... Fire than began to quickly consume much of the suburban outer limits as fighter craft continue to hover over the Atharonian skies. Atharons airforce was already laid to waste prior and there was little resistance from the skies to the airforce aside from afew battle helicopters. Various JAF helicopters began to arrive with Jandrean reinforcements and Tamlin was hoping that the Jandrean bombers would arrive soon with more JAF men who would eventually parachute into the city, this was an hour away.

The shots that were constantly fired into the woods began to die down as Atharonians forces were now focused on the various Jandrean soldiers and fighter craft laying waste to their inner suburbs. Tamlin then lead what remained of his men into the city as various other Jandrean reinforcements began to arrive. While entering the city they stepped over thousands of bodies, most whom were Jandrean forces. "We're paying dearly for the reunion" said Tamlin as they began running into the suburban streets. "Where the hell are those tank reinforcements, we need to strengthen our damn ground game here" he said. "We're losing more damn men than the Atharonians here". Atleast now Jandrean forces finally had made it into the city as they battled their way towards the city center, headquarters of the government buildings. As they attempted to get deeper and deeper into the city, so did the resistance from Atharonian forces. The Jandrean divisions were now for the most part cut off with most of the forces in the outer suburbs attempting to take control and the few divisions on the inner suburbs whom were dropped off by the JAF helicopter pilots. Tamlin knew that he needed to break the Atharonian wall around the central city to meet up with the inner forces, he also knew that they needed the parachute forces to come in soon as various Jandrean ground forces began arriving into the cities.

"Run! Get outta here!" someone yelled. Jeffrey managed to stumble out of a building and across the street just before the building was torn apart in a spectacle of fire and smoke by a Jandrean bomb.

"They're bombing the hell outta this place! We need to fall back!" some soldier yelled into his ear. Nodding, Jeffrey clutched his rifle to his chest and ran down the street, bombs landing all around him. He looked back to see a bomb land in the middle of a group of men, throwing them aside and not all in one piece. Jeffrey didn't know how long he ran, but to him it seemed like an eternity. At some point, however, he noticed that the sounds of explosions had faded and buildings weren't being destroyed all around him.

"Are we safe?" Jeffrey asked.

"Yeah, I think we're out of their bombing zone," an armed civilian said.

"C'mon guys, look sharp. We need to be ready for their advance after they're finished with the bombing runs," an officer said.

"Sir, a report just came in. The Jandreans have apparently landed some troops behind our lines," a radioman said.

"Do we know how many?"

"Report says at least a few thousand, maybe more but it looks like the vast majority of their troops are still to our front."

"Damn it! Alright, well let's get to work. You - start setting up explosives in these streets so we can blast them to kingdom come if they come down here with tanks. You, you, and you - start setting up men in key point in the streets and be ready once the Jandreans start coming. They'll be more wary of street fighting now, so be careful. Radioman, an armored division arrived a while ago and I want to know how soon they can get to the front."

Far Behind Jandrean Lines

Jim crawled forward through the brush, tall grass, and trees till he was at the edge of the treeline. He was hiding in some woods that opened up to a road. This road was used by the Jandreans to transport supplies to the front at Cielander, at least that's what Bill said.

As Jim witnessed a convoy of big trucks drive past, he knew Bill was right. In his arms, Jim held a scoped hunting rifle and he adjusted the scope to match the range from his position to the street. All along the treeline other locals, armed with their own civilian weaponry from home, sat along the treeline waiting for the signal. They weren't working with the military, they were just patriotic Atharonian citizens. When the Jandreans rolled through their area not too long ago, they decided to take a stand against the pigs. The signal wasn't anything special, just a bit of homemade explosive.

And with the detonating of the IED, the signal was given. Jim quickly took aim with his rifle at the first Jandrean he saw and fired his bullet. Pulling back the bolt, he took a quick glance down the treeline to see gun flashes filling his view. "Yeah! Keep up the fire boys!" Jim yelled out as he took another shot.

They had killed a few soldiers, popped a few tires, etc., but they knew it was time to leave when a Jandrean APC rolled into the fight, blasting the treeline with machine gun fire. "Alright, time to go boys! Let's get outta here!" he yelled, running back into the woods. They would be doing this as often as they could, trying to disrupt Jandrean supply lines. Anything to help the war effort.

Major Tamlin and his divisions continued to move through the suburban streets of Atharon, inching ever so close to the city center. As they got deeper into the capital so did the resistence. Another soldier suddenly shot in the head. "REMAIN ALERT BOYS, THESE SONS OF THE GUNS HAVE SNIPERS HITCHED IN THE HOUSES" Tamlin shouted. He knew that the various Atharonian patriots and nationals could hear him and he wanted them to know that he knows they were lying in waiting, taking aim. This was urban warfare, much tougher than that of fighting the wilderness. Tamlin knew that Jandrean forces were at a disadvantage as they were in the heart Atharonian territory, a place they were not well acquainted with.

"Marcus, what does that road sign say up there" said Tamlin looking towards one of his soldiers who could speak Atharonian. "8 km to the city center sir. Another 5 km to the International Airport" said the soldier. "Excellent" said Tamlin, "we're well on rou....."

Suddenly a bomb went off to the far left hand side of Tamlin, 11 soldiers blown instantly. "Where the heck did that come from??" said one of the soldiers in the background. Jandrean forces then began firing at every single building in the street they could find and shots were suddenly fired back from some of these buildings. Major Tamlin took cover in a post office. Then the sounds of loud engines were heard from the skies again, something Tamlin instantly felt relieved when he heard, it was a group of large transportation craft from the Jandrean Airforce, finally flying in. Out came paratroopers, many of them, whom began filling the skies. "About bloody time" said Tamlin as he looked out the window of the post office, stepping out of cover.

Posted Image

"Ok men, air reinforcements are finally here, time step up our game here and begin pushing forward" said Tamlin as he collected himself and began moving back out the street to lead his forces. Suddenly machine guns were hear and various shots were fired toward the various transportation craft. One of the craft blew up as it was attempted to retreat.

"AA guns? I never received any bloody intelligence about the Atharonians possessing AA guns??!! where the hell did they get this technology?" said Tamlin as he stood in shock that the Atharonians actually began firing effectively against the JAF transportation craft and the paratroopers. "I know those type of AA guns sir" said one of the soldiers who ran over to Tamlin while ducking for cover. "Those are F92 type anti-aircraft AA guns from the Fjapland military forces" said the soldier.

Tamlin stood for afew seconds to collect himself again then got up and begin firing. "MOVE OUT MEN" he said as they continued to advance towards the city center. Finally many of the paratroopers began landing inside the city center to assist what was left of the earlier troops that came in with the JAF helicopter squadrons. The Atharonians began to fight on both sides as they had to cope with resistence from Jandrean forces coming in and Jandrean forces moving from the outside. The Atharonian Capital began to look unrecognizable as Jandreans continued to push in.

"Sir, JAF paratroopers have landed behind our front lines," a radioman reported.

"What? What about our anti-air?" General Beckler asked.

"Many of the JAF planes got shot down, but some got through. They'll be attacking our men from both the front and the rear now, sir."

Beckler sighed and massaged his temples. "Alright," he said, "What's the ETA on our armored division?"

"They should arrive any time now."

In the Streets of Cielander

"Firing."

The tank was slightly shaken by the firing, but their target was no more. A JAF-occupied house now had a gaping hole in its side, and through this hole the tank's infantry support was pouring into the building, tossing grenades in rooms and clearing the place of any Jandrean soldiers.

A voice then came over the radio. "Good the see you guys here. This is General Beckler, acting commander of this theater. Here's the situation: JAF paratroopers have landed behind our front lines and now our guys are trapped out there. Your job is to move in and punch a hole through the paratrooper's lines and give our guys an escape route. Good luck."

"Alright you heard him," a crewman said, "Let's move along this street here. According to the map this should take us to where we need to go."

The tanks had infantry squads to accompany each one to ensure they couldn't be overwhelmed by Jandrean soldiers and to clear the way. After a while, the infantry just down the street came under fire. It seemed that the enemy was even further down the street and had just run into them during their own patrol.

As the Atharonian tank moved up, they saw a group of around a dozen JAF troopers taking cover behind mailboxes, car wrecks, and other debris. Upon sight of the tank, they immediately tried to run for better cover, but tank's machine gun pinned them down as the leveled the cannon.

BOOM.

Several Jandreans were blown off their feet as the shell landed among them. Some who survived managed to get up and retreat, but several others were ripped up by the tank's machine gun fire. Several other tanks moved through the city, experiencing various different encounters with Jandrean forces. Some of these tanks would never make it out of this push alive.

"This is Tank A7-3. We've reached Jandrean forces, pushing through." Over the radio the crew could hear several other tanks give the same report. "Alright, let's fine our boys and get them out alive," the crew chief said.

"MY LEGS, I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS" shouted one of the soldiers as he lied on the ground with his legs burned from explosives. "Get that man out of here!" said Tamlin as he continued to take cover from the shots fired down the street. It had already been a number of months into the war and Tamlin, exhausted, continued directing more of his men to take up various positions to clear a way into the city center. The final Jandrean forces had already arrived to the edges of the city center.

"2 hours from the capital building" said one of the soldiers reporting to Major Tamlin. As JAF forces continue to move up, more and more bodies piled up behind them. Jandrean Tank forces began moving into the city as more Jandrean forces began moving in. Cielander was surrounded and the remaining Atharonian forces continued to defend the inner city. It would only be a matter of hours before the government buildings are reached and the political capital is taken controlled. What Atharonian forces that were left in the capital continued to resist the invasion with various tanks and AA guns still in use.

(ooc: sorry for the short and late response Kub. In anycase, let's get this war over with eh so I can get my plot and you can be set free :P )

"Fire!"

"Get down!"

"Medic!"

"My arm!"

"Take cover!"

The sounds of war were all around Jeffrey now. They had been fighting for what seemed like forever. The Atharonian forces that were left had taken refuge in the government buildings in the inner city and defended the streets leading to them viciously. They were surrounded by JAF forces, and Jeffrey didn't know how much longer they could hold out. But whether they won or not, they'd give the Jandreans one hell of a fight to achieve their victory. Explosions and gunshots filled Jeffrey's ears. Most of the comrades he had been fighting with since the beginning were dead.

Jeffrey was suddenly shaken awake from his daydreaming. "C'MON, GET INTO THE FIGHT!" a man yelled into his ears as bullets flew past them. Suddenly alert, Jeffrey lunged for cover and fired blindly from behind his cover. Down the street, various Jandrean soldiers crouched behind concrete barriers and behind corners, firing at the Atharonians.

Jeffrey had just downed a Jandrean when an officer yelled, "THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM, FALL BACK TO OUR RESERVE LINES!" Jeffrey got up and sprinted up the street back towards their lines. One of the men in the reserve line asked him why they were falling back. Jeffrey said, "There's a horde of them coming this way! Get ready!"

Then Jeffrey went over and picked up an RPG that was laying against a wall. He loaded in a rocket and leveled the weapon to aim down the street. Any second now, the Jandreans would show up. Suddenly, a squad of JAF troops came out from an alley and tried to sprint across the street, but Jeffrey fired the RPG, which landed right in between their group and some of the men lost their legs, others were simply blown to the ground.

"Here they come! Open fire!" someone behind him yelled as the Jandreans began entering the street fight, hiding behind buildings and cars, entering brutal urban fighting.

Climax

Major Tamlin finally arrived at the government buildings where the last remaining Atharonian defense forces had taken refuge. Tamlin ran to a cafe across from the main government palace where a make shift command center was set up. Tamlin then walked towards a table and took out the map. Two other JDF commanders entered and surrounded the table while Tamlin set up the map.

"This is the last stretch boys" Tamlin said pointing the map of Government quarter in Cielander. "Military command has made a special request that we do not destroy those government buildings. The documents and information contained in that building are priceless and we need those buildings and the hidden government bomb shelters under them to serve as a capital for the newly formed Western Jandrean Province.

"Then what do you suggest we do with the many 1000's of Atharonian forces couped up inside those buildings and outside, they're not leaving without a fight" said one of the commanders folding his arms. "What makes you think they won't destroy those buildings along with themselves?" he further said.

Tamlin then stood up straight and walked around the table with his hands folded. "We need to avoid further bloodshed here..... we may need to negotiate with the remaining Atharonian forces to give up peacefully" said Tamlin.

One of the commanders began laughing "you are joking Tamlin? Negotiate with these mountain animals?? We're just about the first real civilization to set foot in Atharon since they split up with us those many many years ago. These people do not understand the word negotiation" said the commander.

Suddenly bombs were heard outside, louder than the usual gun shots. Tamlin went to the window and saw smoke coming out of one of the government buildings, he then looked towards the Jandrean tanks on the ground, one of the tank guns had fresh smoke coming out of it. Shots then continued to be fired.

Tamlin then turned back infuriated. "DAMMIT GEORGE TELL YOUR TANK FORCES TO STAND DOWN" he said turning to one of the commanders who were charged with the mobile military vehicles in the war. "We CANNOT afford the get those buildings destroyed".

The Commander then turn turned his back. "If they continue firing on OUR men I will use every force necessary to fire back at them".

Tamlin then walked up to the commander and stood in his face. "I will have you removed from the military within a matter of minutes once I get to one of my communications officers to make a call directly to Defence minister Galdera. We have orders to keep those buildings intact Commander, and you WILL obey my decision here" said Tamlin.

The Commander then backed off and stormed out of the cafe. Tamlin then went up to one of his communications officers. "Can you please find out who the highest ranked individual in the Atharonian forces are in Ceilander and attempt to make communication with them, we need to make them aware that there is no need for them to resist us, we can negotiate" said Tamlin. The Communications officer then began working his military issued communication devices.

"Sir, we've got incoming communications from the Jandreans."

"What is it, soldier?" General Bradley asked.

"They are saying that they are willing to allow us to negotiate."

"Negotiate..." General Bradley murmured to himself. Looking around, he could see wounded men lying around the capital building being treated. Empty bullet casings filled the floor. Dead were being thrown onto several piles throughout the building.

"Tell them I'm ready to negotiate," Bradley said, and was then handed the radio.

"This is General Bradley of the Atharonian Army, commander of Atharonian forces in this area," he began. Then after a long pause, he said, "I am willing to negotiate the surrender of Cielander."

"Tell them to lay down their arms and peacefully leave the government buildings" Tamlin said to the communications officer. "Tell them that they have my word that no harm will come of them and that they will not be taken prisoner" he further stated.

Tamlin then went outside and waited hoping the remaining forces would come out peacefully. The gun shots stopped and there was silence in the streets as both sides stood still.

(ooc: I just, I just can't think of anything else to type at this point... )

(OOC: Oh, yeah. This thread. Forgot I was supposed to reply to this. <.< >.> Yeah, let's finish it.)

"We will accept your terms." Bradley sighed, holding his head in his hands. "You heard him. Put your weapons down and let's get outta here."

Nin'Kutcha, Atharon

"The losses were devastating."

"Continuing the fight will mean a long, drawn-out war that will devastate our country."

"Get me a satellite link with the Jandrean government."

After a few minutes, the face of a Jandrean official came over the screen. "This is the president of Atharon. We wish to set up peace negotiations."
