GEOGRAPHY OF KUBANIZA

Landscape

Most of northern Kubaniza, north of the Kubanizan Highlands that is, is made of inland and coastal plains with a few forested areas. To the south of the Plains are the Highlands, which are made of many hills and some small mountains. In between the two highest points of the Highlands runs a great river which originates in a huge lake located in the mountains of Medaveii in central East Uroca.

Makorland, a Kubanizan territory in northwest Irenical, is very flat. It is bordered on the north and east by a large river that flows from the Kathar Mountains--a mountain range running from the very southern edge of Cardohesia and south through Irenical.

Resources and Industries

The Plains of Kubaniza and Makorland have very fertile soil, making agriculture a huge industry in this region. Much of the land in the Plains is devoted to farms, growing a variety of crops. Fisheries also dot the coastline, especially in the northwest where fish is a key industry for local settlements. Luna Bay, which is shared by both Sainam and Kubaniza, is rich in oil and one can see many an oil rig out on the water. Fiko Gulf near Makorland is also being tapped for oil. On land, oil pumps are not an uncommon sight in Makorland and northern Kubaniza.
