Dear All We have decided to implement a number of changes to the levels of membership and the forum access allowed at different levels. We've kept very much to a 'full access' policy meaning that newly joined members with no or very little post history are able to access the same areas as established and contributory members. Whilst it is marvellous to see so many new members joining the forum it's not so marvellous knowing that some of those new members benefit from the information freely given by other members but have zero interest in contributing or joining in themselves. New members are ALWAYS welcome but we think it's perfectly reasonable to ask that those new members demonstrate they want to be a contributory part of the community before being able to benefit from all of the ideas and information available here. As such, there will be some alterations to the member levels as follows: Just Joined As part of the sign up procedure to this forum, newly validated members will be able to view and post in the Introductions section before gaining open access to the forum. This will also help to limit spam posts and differentiate between genuine sign ups and passers through or accounts generated by any number of spam means. Once a genuine post has been made in the introduction section that person will be promoted to a New Member New Member 1 - 9 posts New members will have much greater access to forum sections but will not benefit from Ad Removal or have access to the PM system. Promoted to Junior Member at 10 posts Junior Member 10 - 39 posts Junior members will have access to the PM and email system Additional sections will become accessible Promoted to Contributory Member at 40 posts Contributory Member 40 - 299 posts Contributory Members will have full forum access Promoted to Advanced Member at 300 posts Advanced Member 300 - 999 posts Full forum access Promoted to CSNS Addict at 1000 posts CSNS Addicts 1000+ posts Say no more! :P Member Account Removal This forum is set to automatically delete Introductory accounts if a post is not made within two weeks of joining. All other accounts are automatically deleted after 30 days of no account activity. Please advise Admin directly if you know you are likely to be away from the forum for a while and want your account manually exempted from the system. This forum is a marvellous source of information, support and suggestions. Our membership give freely of their time and ideas and we make no apologies for feeling that those who contribute generously to this forum should not have their ideas made public to people who join just to help themselves to such data. A small number of new members might find some of the sections disappear for now but please be assured that as your post count increases they will start to reappear. To those members who have joined, spent hours buzzing around the place and availed yourself of the informative threads but now find all you can only access the Introductory section well, you know what to do :) Pictures and Products If any member finds their products or pictures appearing without their permission on another site could they please bring it to the attention of the Admin Team for review. We fully appreciate that there are only so many ways to make a bath bomb for example but we reserve the right to suspend or ban members who make outright copies of products or who avail themselves of someone else's photographs without permission.
