Untitled poem.; It's worth a read, I suppose.

Be nice! I'm new!
[ * ]
Every nerve in my being ignites at your very name
My emptiness is caused entirely by the I miss you game
Your smile brings my heart peace, how could you come to be
When you lost yourself squandering in a restless sea

My lungs feel the exhaustion of lonely air
My eyes search for you but you're not there
You're like an unstoppable wildfire in the night
I'm the forest of trees standing helpless and uptight

Your voice carries beauty to the sadness I've become
My unstable fortress marches to the beat of your drum
You classify yourself as the cynical awkward oddity
My eyes see only the levels of your selfless modesty

Maybe it's the fact that I adore you nonetheless
Perhaps it's the potential I sense in your thoughtfulness
Any way we look at you're the smile I earnestly crave
Either way my heart is in a headlock when I cave
