Located just north of Providence, Rhode Island's capital, Bayside is a neighboring residential area, an area with plenty of history and excellent scenery. Most visitors pause here on their way through the state, usually grabbing a hotel room in the infamous Z's in Downtown. The shopping center in town is one of the biggest in the area and the school system is renowned. blah blah...to be edited...

Bayside Gazette]
Headlines
Fall is here! With that comes the opening of the Chriastensen family pumpkin patch! Pick up your pumpkins and get prepared for the holidays! On that note, the staff at Dover Hospital would like to remind you to bundle up on those cold days to decrease the number of their incoming patients. Also, please don’t annoy your relatives. The Gazette staff also wants to congratulate local Molly Dablin on the release of her latest book, the third in the Confessions of a Barista series!
Police News None. Kudos to Bayside for being Rhode Island’s safest city of the year!
Weather
Sunday: True to its name, Fall begins with a bit of a chill and a nippy wind. The trees have already begun to give up a bit of their bright green color, opting instead for a bit of variation. But the sun still shines brightly, working against the chill and overcoming it at about noon. So don't worry so much about remembering a jacket - come noon you won't need it any more. Rather, simply enjoy the last few nice days Bayside has to offer before winter arrives full force.
Monday: A rather gloomy Monday begins our week, opening with a slight drizzle. The rain will let up towards about noon, only to worsen as the day gives way to early evening. Temperatures will be fairly high, as fall has just begun, so the air is sure to be muggy with the humidity, causing a sluggish pall to fall over the whole town. Tuesday:Last night's sprinkles continue on through Tuesday, ruining the majority of the day. In fact, it isn't until late evening, practically Wednesday, that the rain will let up enough to even consider leaving the house. Unfortunately, school has already begun for the teens and children in town and they have no choice but to drag themselves out of bed and sit in their classrooms, fighting off sleep.
Wednesday:The rain has completely dissipated by Wednesday, but the air holds a slightly chilly nip that continues to remind locals of the approaching winter season. Best remember to grab that windbreaker before leaving the house.
Thursday: Fortunately enough, the rain seems to have completely faded away. No remnants remain on this beautiful Thursday - one of the last for the fall season - and even the wind seems to have taken a brief hiatus. Glance at the beautiful leaves on the trees in the park as you walk around town.
Friday: Though the wind has returned, whipping against windows and buildings and causing most of the homes and shops in town to bolt their doors and glass windows against the breeze. Hardly a Friday to head down to the beach; though the days for beachy activities are numbered!
Saturday: Almost as if to make up for the poor weather of Friday afternoon, Saturday will begin with bright, nearly blinding sunlight. Make sure to slide the curtains over the window to avoid an unwanted wake up call. The day will remain just as bright as it begins but, unfortunately, will end with a brief late night storm.
