To keep from getting that Freshman 15, don't be afraid to go on a run here.

Damien realized the clock in the bar was about fifteen minutes fast, and cursed himself for being such an idiot to run to the campus. After changing and such, he arrived on the track, deciding for a nice good afternoon run before heading over to learn. Maybe it'll jog his brain cells or something.
He stretched a bit before taking off in a slow jog around the track.

Hair pulled back in a loose ponytail and ipod in hand, Hannah started towards the track, ready for a run. She had a lot to think about. After all, she was engaged to her best friend. Whose parents just happened to hate her with nearly every fiber of their being. And Jordan's internship was more intense than she'd originally been predicting. She hadn't seen him in a couple of days now.
Stretching her legs out at the bleachers, Hannah stuck the headphones in her ears and began in a brisk run.

Hearing someone else on the track, Damien craned his neck back to look while still running. Bad idea. Without his focus on his feet, he didn't lift one foot high enough and stumbled, moving head first into the track. His chin slammed with the ground, his forehead scraping against it as he slid along.
"Ow." he muttered, embarrassed and in pain as he got up onto his knees and rubbed his forehead.

She hadn't paid much attention to the other student on the track, mostly absorbed in running to work off a bit of stress.
At least until he fell.
"Oh, shit," She stopped running, stepping forward to where he knelt with a concerned expression on her face. "That looked like it hurt. You alright?" She half smiled at him, brushing her bangs out of her eyes as she offered a hand to help him up.

"Uh, fine." he flashed her a forced smile. He held her hand lightly and stood on his feet, brushing off his shorts and shirt. "Took a nose dive right into it." he stated the obvious, blabbering. "I don't know, I tripped on my shoes or something."

"Eh, sometimes the track catches you out out of nowhere," She took a half step away, tugging at the hem of her shorts as she stared at the ground. "God knows I've fallen enough times just when walking. Kudos to you for at least making it to a run," She smiled, glancing back up and squinting as the sun fell into her eyes. "You a freshman or...?"

"That easy to tell?" he asked, shaking his head and rubbing the back of his neck, still embarrassed. "What about you?"

"Only because you're not a familiar face," She said with a half smile, brushing her hair out of her eyes again. "Junior actually," Hannah offered a one shouldered shrug, tilting her head slightly. "Where'd you come in from?"

"Vermont." he said, crossing his arms over his chest. "It's been an alright move, got started here almost the same day we got an apartment. Can't waste time, you know?"

"Apartment? In the Bayside Apartment building?" She raised an eyebrow slightly. "Not a fan of the dorms then? I actually don't think they're too bad..." She smiled at him. "Any idea what you're majoring in?"

"Yeah, my little sister is with me too, so I can't just let her fend for herself." he said, bouncing foward and backward on his heels. "I'm majoring in business, I actually need a good business paying job.." he grinned.

"Just you and your sister?" Though families like that were not unheard of in Bayside, they were a bit rare and it took a second for Hannah to recover from her surprise. "Well...quite the considerate brother," She nodded. "I've got a friend whose majoring in business. I think he's a TA this year. Maybe you've met him,"

"I doubt it. I only met probably.." he counted on his fingers, "Three people since I've been here. You making it four. Damien, by the way." he smiled.

"Hannah," She held her hand out to him, grinning at him as she did so. "Three people? That's it?" Inclining her head slightly, almost in confusion, Hannah hesitantly smiled again. "That's so weird,"
