Located just north of Providence, Rhode Island's capital, Bayside is a neighboring residential area, an area with plenty of history and excellent scenery. Most visitors pause here on their way through the state, usually grabbing a hotel room in the infamous Z's in Downtown. The shopping center in town is one of the biggest in the area and the school system is renowned. blah blah...to be edited...

Alright, so it wouldn't really be fair to force you to wait an entire year in order to age a toddler one, right?
Of course not!
The year here at Bayside Vista is 12 weeks long, three for each season [summer, fall, winter, spring], which allows time to move fairly quickly.
First and foremost, characters may remain an adult or an elder forever if you like! There is no week limit on how long these characters may remain in the generic lifestage setting of "adult" or "elder".
The other age groups are not the same.
Pregnancy for characters is 6 weeks long. You must post the pregnancy in the form at the hospital in order to be given your due date (and to have the date placed on the calendar!) by an Admin.
The lifestage of infants is 3 weeks max, one season. This is plenty enough time for an active user. [Note: For children born IN Bayside, the end of the infant lifestage is the common time to create a unique account for the child]
Toddlers remain toddlers for no more than 6 weeks and no less than 3. So at least one season of toddlery...
Children must remain children for at least a season, at most three.
And finally, a teen can be a teen for 24 weeks, two entire years on board. Minimum is half a year so...enjoy that!
Alright, so those are the rules. Us Admins will do our best to stay on top of aging and such and do our best to PM members in order to alert them when their character MUST be aged.
Note: If a character needs to remain in a certain lifestage for a little bit longer, we have no problem being open to it. Simply shoot us a PM stating that your character needs to be one of these life stages for a bit longer and we'll be happy to give you a little bit of freedom.
