"Your brother is in jail. Go and be a dear; get him out? Oh, your tuition is paid for, but your dad doesn't think that you need any spending money, so you can go and get a job. Also, your dad and I are going to Europe for a year. He's trying to make a new branch there, and you know how ambitious he is. Try not to make too much of a mess with yourself. Don't go and ask your uncle or aunt for money; it will look bad on us. Don't make yourself a pest to them too. If we were able to do everything from scratch, you can get off your lazy ass and do some work." "Really? You support his habits, but God forbid I may need money for food," Anita said to herself as she approached the lobby of the police station. "Good afternoon, I am here to see my brother Matthew Wilson. I heard he was to be released today," Anita said politely to the receptionist at the desk. "He already left this morning," answered the receptionist. "Do you know where he may have gone?" asked Anita. "He said he was going to go home to rest," said the receptionist. "Thank you so much," said Anita. "You should watch out for his well-being. He seems to be a bit out of it," said the receptionist. Nodding politely, Anita walked out the door and sighed. He's probably out somewhere up to no good. Why do I have to deal with his crap? Anita took out her phone and sent a text message to her brother. What the hell do you think you're doing? Where are you? Anita set a path back to the dorms as she did not want to deal with anything else but her bed. Forward To Dorms |
