BMP Georgian Bay Glaze

The cream and sugar set has the yellow and blue 3 trees sticker, that says Georgian Bay Pottery. Produced around 1967-68? The two handled jug in the back is a Huronia Pottery piece, the rest are bmp.

The Georgian Bay deer are not easy to find. One is all glued together and I paid 50 cents for it. I still display it along with the good one that I found in England later.

I just received this candy tray from eBay, my first piece in Georgian Bay glaze! It is marked with the 3 trees and Canada.

Here are 2 pictures of the "Muskie" (mold # 555) in what I believe to be a variation of the Georgian Bay glaze. It almost looks like the green was brushed onto the base colour.Could this be a 'rare' find??? >:(TT

Georgian Bay glaze is a little harder to find, as is this particular mould, so put together, it's definitely a nice find, but we "rarely" like to use the word "rare". We prefer "hard to find" unless a piece truly is rare. :Dgoofy In any case, very nice piece!

The lighter green top colour would basically have been "painted" on top of the bottom colour and then fired in the kiln, allowing the two colours to flow together.
