Just read a review that recommends that you should be prepared to discuss some things with younger kids if you do see it with him. Its also worth pointing out that its not a Narnia clone in any sense.

We decided we'll go and see Tranformers - hate to say it but I'd rather see that anyway!

I just discovered Hyperdrive! I'm in love - English comedy, sci-fi, I'm in heaven. Thank God for the ABC.

Saw that last night, obviously a nerd fest but not quite sure what to make of it.

However, much more importantly, DR WHO STARTS AGAIN TONIGHT!!!!

I KNOW!!!!!! Oh, I am a happy lass - I have been sorely deficient in sci-fi lately.

:rofl NEVER! I can't get enough of my beloved sci-fi - even the painfully awful stuff.

as for hyperdrive - i'm quite delighted with it - give me a good old fashioned nerd-fest any day - I would be quite happy aboard a space ship wearing a dorky uniform and pushing flashing buttons but I am proud to say that I don't memorise episodes of anything or go to sci-fi conventions or own any costumes - more power to those who do but i will abstain at this point

Saw "The Wicker Man" on DVD - utter crap, I regret the time wasted watching it.
Bloodly awful.

Would rather drop a brick on my foot than watch it again. Enough said.

Yes, that's me in a toga.
Canberra is cold, wet and miserable. If I didn't live 10 minutes away from my workplace, I would be thoroughly miserable right now.

Hey, G, great to see you :) hope all is well with you and yours - not much happening here, just the usual - y'know, eating brains, chasing screaming students, etc., losing limbs, etc....
