No offence bombers fans, but i dont think the bombers are half as good when Hird and Lloyd don't play. I think they are gonna have a bit of a fall now. just crape into the 8 or just miss out.

As an eagles supporter the Wizard Cup is getting pretty damn exciting though :D :D :D

Interestingly though, the eagles are the only team in the final 4 of the Wizard Cup who probably have genuine hopes for winning the competition proper. carlton and the Roos will be happy to make the 8, and bulldogs will be happy to clock up 7-10 wins I would think.

Maybe West Coast can get a similar start to the Sainters last season? :D

Did this happen to you?

Yeah and the six other cars I was parked with while working last night... bastards!

I was actually lucky, only lost $10 change and got a broken window. Other guys lost expensive sound systems, phones and wallets.

Bastards!

I'm not trying to be an antagonist, but . . .

. . . I thought that Max Barry's Jennifer Government is nothing more than pop fiction tripe, and was mildly amusing.

We loved 'Lost in Translation' although we don't think it would be everyone's cup of green tea.

It has a lot of references to quirky aspects of modern Japanese culture, which is probably appreciated most by people who have spent time living in Japan (which we have been fortunate enough to have done).

"Lost In Translation" was definitely NOT one of My Favourite Films and could certainly be compared to

RV 2 posts back - a cup of green tea

.... or anything green and horrible for that matter [/b]cry

IMHO The films Name is a Misnomer, because it's 99% about a Friendship between Bill Murray an ageing movie star (who acted the part well (an ageing and useless over the hill actor)) And The Cute (Well at Least Presentable) Scarlett Johansson who did no more than any final year drama student could achieve!!

The setting is Japan, and hence the title Lost in Translation but the references to The Translation difficulties were 'Thin on the Ground' - which is a Pity because these scenes were the funniest :P

Sofia Coppola, who got an Oscar for this Cr*p showed her Vast Inexperience and Lost the story to a Sad and Pointless Friendship between an Old Guy and a young Married lady - Justifying the whole fiasco with a Subtitle "Friendship Needs No Translation"

...... Points out of 10, None at All!
