Hate thieves. Had a breakin on NYE of all times. They got about 10 grand worth of the olds' jewelery in the master bedroom. Not too keen on the insurance companies either, its a pain in the ass dealing with them afterwards!

we reported to the police and seems both our neighbours had lights stolen from their gardens. Lots of other ppl have been robbed over the past week as well.
Hubby installed a sensor light in all the nasty places and spent most of the night watching for them to come on and diving out side when they did.
There is a cat in our street that might not live long if it keeps wandering arund our house !

Just a random thought:

Won't be posting on NS much over the next week as I am moving between Germany and Australia in real life, and am forever shifting between friends' apartments and airports.

Yes, that's me in a toga.
Hey Guys!

Am recuprating in Malaysia after a stressful few days in Hong Kong. Didn't think it was ever as crowded in HK as it is right now. People everywhere, felt like I couldn't breath, which was kinda true because they haven't heard of unleaded or premium petroleum here. On day 1 I was stoked, eager and excited to be there, ready to take on whatever the jam-packed island would throw at me (be it crap or really cool sovernirs). By day 6, I was suffering from a nasty headcold, my back had gone out on me, and the people there were giving me the royal sh*ts. My short time there has only increased my harbouring contempt for those pushy and rude HK'ers. I was being cut off in traffic, cut off on the sidewalk, cut off in the supermarket (when I could even find one) and cut off lining up for Maccas.

It's one of the few times I've been driven to near physical violence, where the desire to clothesline or swing at a particularly rude person was all too tempting. Otherwise HK was great, food was tops, shopping was tiring but good, and transportation was excellent by MTR. Would love to go back there some time on an extended holiday period as 6 days is nowhere near enough.

Awaiting Chinese New Year festivities back here in KL, will be awesome. Already miss my town opera house there's none like it.

See you all soon!

Oh, and that crazy-looking reverend that B&B put up some time back- that's the chat, filthy, perverted elder priest from the Irish comedy sitcom Father Ted

Father Jack Hackett, as played by Ireland's most loved actor, Frank Kelly:

The one on the left, playing violin.

NB: He is nothing like the character on Father Ted :D

Out of interest, this is a scene from the movie "Evelyn", made in 2002.
