Yes, that's me in a toga.

It's probably a bunny, just 'cutified' by the Japanese (I know there's no such word as 'cutified' but I can't think of an adequate adjective). Random Thought- Damn teenyboppers still give me the shits. Encountered a whole legion of them tonight at work. A few were okay and tried to make an effort to dress well, but others- you'll have to forgive me for this- were wearing skanky gear. I mean c'mon. It's a cool windy night and you're wearing a miniskirt and midriff? What were you thinking? Other than giving yout boyfriend a cheap thrill? And why do they deem it necessary to cascade the contents of several large popcorn boxes down the stairs? Or send random text messages or calls during the movie? Sure, Anna Hathaway movies such as The Princess Diaries aren't always stimulating cinematics, but really... Random Thought 2- I still love re-reading a political comedic appraisal of US media-political complexes: Lies and the Lying Liars who tell them: A fair and balanced approach to the Right by Al Franken

:puke: bearded women sorry to all u bearded women out there but they dont exactly sound rite... mayb they went a lil too far on the male hormones
sorry jokesive got an alarm clock that pisses the hell outa me wen it goes off esp wen i know i have to wake up and its way too early. the compulsory wake up times should be round 10 or later depending how tired u r -my random thought- why is NFL(gridiron) called football? it seems rather funny cos the ball hardly ever comes into contact with ur foot except for punts and shots at goal. and they happen a lot less then the throwing and passing at the start of plays i understand soccer and aussie rules being called football cos ur foot is regularly kicking the ball :bunny: cheers geoff |

Well I did my Christmas shopping today, and for some reason now I am utterly depressed as a result. I guess it is because it looks like I will be alone for Christmas, and these Germans like to rub the whole thing in as being a family event. It is weird though, I don't really celebrate Christmas, but I think it is the fact I will be away from my family. I might organise a christmas day lunch at a friend's dormitory and run the kitchen for the day. It would give me something to do and some company for Christmas. I got the nicest pair of earrings for my former-girlfriend-who-I-am-not-with-but-only-because-we-are-in-different-countries-and-so-we-are-single today. Pearl with cut crystals (I think Swarovskis). I hope I can work out how to send registered post from Germany. I would hate to lose them in the post. They cost more than the combined amount of all the other presents I bought. I guess I am just an incurable romantic sometimes. Anyway, I better go prepare the first of the two seminars I am presenting next week. Does anybody know about temperature dependent models for the trapping of positrons in semiconductor materials? How about reconstruction techniques for determining the invariant mass of the neutral pion particle? Damn. |
