I wonder which is worse: passive aggressive, or passive smoking?

If you did it intentionally to damage your health then you could passive aggressively passive smoke.

I can see where your coming from NP but I think you worded it very wrongly. Nirvana had an element of blues to it that Pearl Jam and other grunge bands did not have. This is why Pearl Jam sounded angrier while Nirvana sounded depressing. 'Emo' music has NO blues element to it. As a bit of a blues aficionado I'm more of a fan of Nirvana than Pearl Jam and for that reason I'd ask you to be careful where you drop the 'e' bomb.

i love that you e-know me well enough to get what i meant and yes, i will be cautious in using the other 'e' word in reference to music of infinitely greater value and quality than most of which we hear (commercially at least) these days

well i could have sung my apology but that might have ended with me having to apologise even more!

Tickets for Pearl Jam go on sale in about 10 days - trying to convince Mr. Inc to take me but he doesn't like them much. Might have to go, anyway. It's far too nostalgic to miss out on.

How's everyone going? Just finished my Cert IV - sent in last assessment yesterday - and started the new job. Flat out busy, my last job was very serene and peaceful by comparison but all good.

I'm doing great thanks for asking NP :D

Its almost tax return time. We're expecting a biggie and we're hopefully getting a new computer (amongst other things)

Also planing to move back to the Bendigo region next year to be closer to friends.

Yes, that's me in a toga.
Tax stuff's about to be mailed tomorrow morning.

Absolutely flat chat at work - and trying to apply for a promotion at the same time. Tell you what - I'm terrible at writing up my selection criteria these days. Used to be really proficient at writing them out. Now I can't even string a few coherent sentences together.

Cert IV? Nice work NP

Its only a matter of time though.

ty Schnapps

as part of my current job, i do training for jobseekers on addressing selection criteria and complex applications - sc is a &^%$@#! to do particularly for government/education jobs

i once missed out on having my resume considered because i didn't address the selection criteria in dot points - i put them under headings instead ..... stupid me

sometimes i just act as a sc translator, particularly for our CALD clients (culturally and linguistically diverse) but sometimes i have to tell them that just because English is my first language, it doesn't mean that i understand the gobbledy-gook someone has put into a job ad

hahaha!

fyi - if you are in Sydney and are fond of Middle Eastern sweets, go to Abla's - railway street, granville, sydney.

i went to a little Lebanese restaurant today for lunch - got my mn'noushy (lebanese pastry with haloumi, olives and sajuk) and saw little pistachio and date filled pastries which are sent up from Abla's to sunny QLD. Haven't had Abla's yummies for nearly six years - it was a nostalgic little moment. Not to mention utterly delicious with coffee.

*sigh* food
