I truly hate maths now

Although in a week when exams are over I'll probably be fine with it again.

Yes, that's me in a toga.
Depends on what kind of maths you're doing Sypons. If it's sphereical trigonometry, harmonic motion, or something high level like that (which I'm guessing you're doing something similarly hard-bastard like that), then yeah it probably sucks really bad.

If it's something simpler like finding out what 'x' means in a simple equation (which bamboozled a lot of guys when I was back in high school, and still baffles them now), then it's probably going to be of everyday use and well worth doing. What maths exams are you doing mate?

The subject title is Calculus for Science and Engineering. Its a nasty piece of work. Although I'm pretty sure I'll never use line integrals in spherical coordinates its probably nice to know.

:rofl

i quite like Maths (it is a science in itself) but once it gets too clever, i don't cope

Random rant:

I hate university.
I hate that in order to get a qualification to do what I already do, I have to study a bunch of stuff that I will never do.

I hate that in a world that relies on practical experience, there is so little practical application in some degrees.

I hate that I have to experience extreme boredom from lecturers and then generate extreme boredom for them in the guise of essays.

*sighs*

ok i'm over it for the moment

:rofl I'd be happy with a cattle prod

Went to see Don't Mess with the Zohan last night - took my brother out for his b'day

Not a huge fan of Adam Sandler (thought I do like Happy Gilmore) but I laughed till it hurt - huge amounts of wildly inappropriate humour and a fascinating take on the political situation in the Middle East

definitely not for the fainthearted :) don't go and see this with your mother
