Here is the idea, please read carefully, we're starting this sunday:

At first, there would be 2 groups with individual logos and names(obviously). Also, I would appoint a group captain for every month. That Group Captain is responsible for getting members, and new members, into the group. You can't leave your group without express permission from the Captain and me.

Now that you've formed the group, there would be a separate forum for our "Debates". The "Debates" would last 1 week, i.e. Sunday to Sunday. Every Sunday, I'll be telling you who won the debate. The points would be:

Downright victory: 10 points
Good victory: 7 points victor, 3 points loser
Draw: 5 points each

There can be a maximum of 3 debates simultaneously. The topics can be proposed by any of the members or by me. A member can propose only one topic every week. It won't be an individual VS another, but all the members from one group versus all the members from another. The group proposing would be the Challenging group and the other group the Defending group.

Also, the number of members in each group must roughly be the same, and a member can stay neutral and not join a group if he wants to. He/she, can however, support a group in debates.

Fine?
Give me more suggestions. I'm thinking of a topic for this Sunday to begin. Put your thinking caps on guys. Also, think of the names of the 2 groups and the group captains are:
Israeli Air Force
bop_04

Participants are supposed to "Quote" the members of the opposing group and prove their statements wrong or beat them in an argument.

Get working!

It's good that you asked me this question.

You, as the Group Captain, will be in that posoition till the end of November. You are supposed to persuade members to join your group, the bravers( suggest a better name if you want to), and I'll gladly put them in if they agree. The same goes for the Fighters. Once this is done, debates would last for one week on various topics, and members would debate by posting arguments and counter-arguments to each other( the normal way we do it in the forums), and the winner would be decided on who gives the best arguments and has proven his point.

You have to persuade members to join your group by PMing or mailing them, and give useful arguments to your team's cause. Also, the number of members in both the groups should be roughly the same, for an even "fight". The winner will be the one who has the best arguments, and has proven his/her point on debatable issues. Also, it isn't 1 member VS another but a group VS another. Make sure that you PM or e-mail or inform the members whom you want to join your group and make them understand the format by asking them to read this topic. Just keep in touch and see that the number of members are the same on both sides.

I hope you have understood the format.

If you want to change the name of your group or the banner ( you haver to give a suitable replacement, lol) then you have to PM me and I'll make the changes.

Actually, if both the Captains are on the same side of a debatable topic, then this doesn't suit to be called a "topic". There is no binding rule on you to go for or against a topic. So, IAF can go against the topic if he wishes. If Bop thinks that he can go for the topic, then it's fine and we shall have the debate starting this sunday, and if not, then please suggest some good topics!

The Captain's views are of prime importance, and a debate can only take place if one captain if for the topic and another is against. I hope this clears it out.
(P.S- The Captains can PM me on such issues. I'll be glad to answer them)

Well, that's the point, a better debater will write much better.

BTW, what kind of summary?

Also, once you post here or the relevant forum about which group you'd like to join, I'll sign you up for it with the name and banner. Hope that clears off the confusion.
